Always been a fan of this place. Great location and delicious food. The chefs are really nice and have great customer service. I always get the Groupon set or come with a larger group so the price is okay. It's a lot but you're paying for really good food and cooking.

Yesterday, a family of 9 people went to dinner and spent more than 2,000 dollars. They brought 2 bottles of red wine. The boss said that the corkage fee is based on the grade of the wine. I don't understand this. In addition, we agreed to only charge for one bottle, but at checkout we were still charged a corkage fee of $70. Moreover, I felt that the chef was unprofessional and the food was not delicious. The vegetables are also single, so I just told the boss to do this business, and I will never go there again.

Was very good. Restaurant was empty when we came. Maybe a good idea is instead of Groupon have price point closer to your Groupon price. Also your gmb profile has wrong address. It was very difficult to find.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator

Reserve, reserve, you need to reserve. This is a restaurant where reservations are a must. Remember to reserve because walk-ins are almost impossible. This time, I’ll share my dining experience with an 11-course meal for 2 that I got from Groupon. The appetizer, lobster miso soup, was very flavorful. However, extracting the lobster meat from the soup took a bit of effort. The smoked salmon salad was refreshing and appetizing. The entire lobster that followed was fresh and satisfying. The medium-rare beef tenderloin was perfectly juicy. The salmon steak, shrimp, and scallops were standard, not impressive, but still good. The thinly sliced ribeye usuyaki, accompanied by crispy dried garlic and green onions, is highly recommended. Food-wise, Gyu King does a great job. However, in comparison, the service was less impressive. The time between courses was too short, making the dining experience feel rushed, which I wasn’t pleased with. I understand the need for efficiency, but it did diminish the overall experience. The chef didn’t have many flashy moves and didn’t interact much with us. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if you’re used to lively teppanyaki restaurants with performances, this might not be your cup of tea. The staff wasn’t very enthusiastic either. A side note, those who buy through Groupon will still need to pay GST and a 15% tip.

What a wonderful experience overall. We had the 11-course Teppanyaki Meal. It's clear that Marco, the Owner, insists on having the freshest ingredients on hand. His chef was very professional, friendly, caring, and entertaining. We especially enjoyed the lobster, prawns, scallops and 2 different types of grilled steaks. However, the miso lobster soup, salad, rice, veggies, and mango gelato dessert were to die for, too. The dining area is beautifully decorated. It's an intimate atmosphere yet would be great for holding business meetings. This restaurant is conveniently located across from the Hotel Vancouver. We will definitely be returning Marco! Thank you for such an enjoyable experience as we celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary.Murray and Kathleen, Nanaimo, BCDietary restrictions: Gluten free, etc.

I bought Groupon dinner for 2 it not worth it .it seem you not get any discount from Groupon they advertised over price. Small shrimp,Small scallop and not any entertaining. The place so quite. Not thing wrong with the restaurant but if you buy from Groupon and expect to get to price that they said 266 you might disappointed.

Excellent meal. From the appetizer salad and soup, all the way through to the simple but prefect finisher in the green tea and mango ice cream. Will definitely be back again.
