The Mee Goreng surprised me the most! I liked the tomato flavour and it was fried perfectly. The Fried Kuey Teow was just alright compared to the Southern Chinese version of this dish, but it was still good. The Roti Prata wasn’t worth it for takeout as there wasn’t enough sauce and it was oily and cold. There is barely enough space for dining in so prepare to order out. They make you to order online as they rarely pick up the phone. It can take almost 45 minutes for takeout on a regular night. It is cash or debit only, and cash only if it’s below $15.

Meaning, come prepared to be cramped, and super close to strangers, eating, and its a self-serve type of place, the tables may be sticky as you clean it yourself too, between customers. Feb 2024, now takes debit too in additional to cash.Tip: Bring your own container, as good portion size; and save money (charge for container); plus you can reduce preventable waste, so bring a box in advance.

Fantastic food with decent prices. I had my usual, tofu goreng and a side of veggie fritters. Delicious and fresh. I couldn't finish the fritters so I took one home. It was good when I reheated it in the toaster oven.Worth checking this place out if you are in the neighbourhood.
Tried this place for the first time and what a pleasant surprise, we ordered the Beef curry with noodles, Laksa and the keouw tow. They were all delicious. If you’re ever in East Van and want to try Singaporean/malaysian food , check this place out. The place is very small so there could be a wait during lunch time.

The food is delicious, but I couldn't help but notice that the portions have gotten a lot smaller. While the flavors are as vibrant as ever, it's a bit disappointing to receive less on the plate. Hopefully, they consider adjusting the portions to match the outstanding flavours.
