Been coming here frequently for lunch as I work around here. They always have delicious daily special bentos at a reasonable price.Love their salad, rolls and chicken garaage. The staff are always super friendly. Highly recommend.

My best sushi place in Vancouver! I can eat traditional and fusion Japanese menu both in here. I was a fishery sales for Japanese restaurants 8 years before. This restaurant always insist to buy fresh and expensive materials from me. That is why I trust and enjoy eating food here all the time. The main reason why they are keep operating this business many years. ??

Tried this restaurant out a few days ago after walking by the front door for several years. Quality was excellent, prices very reasonable and service great. Will go back only wish I had caugh on earlier. Highly recommended.

i thought the food was pretty good for takeout! the udon was very very bouncy and loved the texture, the sauce was savory and creamy but a bit too much like mayo, wished there was a bit more kimchi. the scallop roll was good, rice was soft and not overwhelming, torched with white sauce even though i asked for no sauce. besides the communication mishaps, i eventually got my food after a short wait.

I phoned in the afternoon to ask what time they are open for dinner I was told “we are open all day we don’t close until 8:30 at night” We get there at 4:00 and were told “we are closed from 4:00-5:00” We were a party of 4 We said we cannot wait until 5:00 They said “you can order take out” We order takeout and pay We sit down and they say we have to wait outside!!” I said it’s only 15 minutes and we were told you are open all day until 8:30 No response We walk around for 20-25 minutes We come back at 4:30 and the restaurant has people eating at 3 tables! I point this out to the hostess saying you are not only but you made us wait outside while people are eating inside! You made us walk around the block! The hostess laughs and walks away She was unbelievably rude and dismissive!

Used to be 5 star. Now I can only give 1. Daily bento used to be 2 boxes or more. Now 1 box fits it all despite the increase in price. Inflation is understandable. However, fish is NOT FRESH in the seafood salad. Imagine spending $40 and fish is not fresh. I threw out most of the seafood salad. Won’t be returning. Quite difficult to find good restaurants nearby. So really sad for this.

Our family dined at Hime on a Sat around 5:45. The place was busy already, but staff were efficient and attentive. I ordered the mentaiko kimchi udon, a new fusion dish I had never seen, and was pleasantly surprised! It was SO delicious and definitely hit the spot for me. My son said their chicken terriyaki was one of the best and I also like their version of karaage, which reminds me of boneless crispy Korean fried chicken. Parking was easy. Highly recommend!

Good food and cozy atmosphere. The salmon is always fresh and there is a variety of dishes. We ordered the Mother’s Day combo for take-out and our whole family loved it.

Home is open for dine in again! I went there for dinner yesterday with my partner and we both had a great time. The food quality, quantity and price were great and it feels as cozy as it did before. The bento set was absolutely value for money. Their loyalty program also seems pretty good if you plan on eating there often enough. Absolutely will be going back many more times like the pre covid days.

I’ve been coming here since 5-6 years ago and honestly everything has gotten worse. I’ve been eating their crispy California roll since I was in grade 6 and instead of having fried tempura pieces on-top it’s just panko now, it’s like there’s barely any effort and it didn’t taste as good as before either. Also the two waitresses kept pushing the bill on us after we told them we aren’t finished, also they changed the system where they don’t have a discount card system and instead it’s a point system that honesty seems awful. It’s so sad as every-time I’ve craved sushi I’ve always ordered from this place and I say so many good things about this place and only ever eat from this place if possible. This place has been gone downhill so fast and it’s sad to say I no longer have a favourite sushi place: at least it’s not here anymore.
