Usually really love this place, we order often but lately have found the value for the price really decreased. Today was the most disappointing - our broth bowls were barely half full. Not even like it spilled on the way or anything. I understand not providing the bowl completely full as there’s so much filling in the soup but over the past couple years watching the bowls get smaller and smaller is super disappointing.

The rewards program is a fraud! Jynia used to be my favourite restaurant in Vancouver but I got really frustrated today. Their rewards program doesn’t really work and you can’t claim your points unless you log in into your account. After several attempts, I gave up on trying the access and even though they can see how many points you have, the manager said “there is nothing I can do it, I’m sorry”. The customer service is really disappointing. I’m definitely taking a break from there.

The food is delicious. The broth is complex and flavourful, albeit it misses the expected lower notes of gyokai. The egg was boiled at too high a temperature a bit; overcooked yolk on the edges and still runny in the middle. The marinade for it is pleasantly sweet though. The other toppings are average, and the noodles had good bite to them. Overall an enjoyable bowl, but pricier than average in the city. The service staff are very enthusiastic, though they will clear your area complete with wiping it down the minute you put your spoon down. It gives the impression they want you to eat and get out asap. Loud, bar like atmosphere and seating, not conducive to conversation.

Jinya Ramen Bar in Vancouver offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of hits and misses. Starting with the positives, the Brussel Sprouts are a must-try, boasting fantastic flavor and texture. Similarly, the Karagi Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Chicken Rice Bowl are all standout dishes, showcasing the restaurant's culinary prowess. For families, the kids' meal is a winner, featuring small portions of various items like Chicken Ramen, Ground Chicken Rice Bowl, Karage Chicken, salad, a lollipop, and a small ice cream, ensuring little ones leave satisfied. However, not all dishes hit the mark. The Spicy Chicken Ramen falls short with its monotonic flavor profile, lacking depth and complexity. While the addition of crushed garlic adds some much-needed flavor, it doesn't fully redeem the dish. On the upside, the thin noodles are cooked to perfection, adding a comforting element to the meal.On the service front, the waitress deserves commendation for her politeness and attentiveness, enhancing the overall dining experience. As for location, the restaurant is situated in an area where parking can be challenging to find. However, if you're staying in downtown Vancouver, the walk to the restaurant is manageable and shouldn't deter you from experiencing the culinary delights Jinya Ramen Bar has to offer.Overall, Jinya Ramen Bar offers a mix of flavorful dishes and attentive service, making it a worthwhile dining destination in Vancouver.

Hands down. Best ramen in Vancouver. Vegan broth was creamy and delicious. Vegan dumplings also a hit. The service was on point. Great ambiance for a Friday night. Thanks Jinya for a great evening.

Very tasty food but too many people. Wait 30 minutes to enter, you can only be in the place for 90 minutes and it takes 25 minutes to serve you

This is my first time arrive here, I really got to say the staff are pretty friendly towards their customers, they will try to take your feedback and questions constructively, yet able to offer you the request as you wanted, really a good experience. For me actually I did both Dine in and Uber Pickup, Dine in was the Takoyaki cuz I was desperate need to taste one on April 8th today, and Uber pickup was for the promotion, a few bucks cheaper and it for the Tonkotsu Black right after the the Takoyaki order, and one of the staff even gave me their bowl as I requested to eat inside restaurant. Lastly, the price is actually quite affordable and will make you pretty full after dinning within 30 bucks range, really a pretty lovely once in-a life time experience, yeah, thanks. ありがとう

Busy little spot but worth waiting to get in. Every time we come here we're surprised at how good and consistent everything is. Service is always great, food is always amazing, and those Toki highballs are very refreshing. The portion sizes never leave you hungry nor do they fill you up too much to enjoy the rest of your day. Definitely a favorite spot to stop on Robson.

Good vegan ramen options. The ramen broth was very good but the noodles felt like instant noodles. And $23 for a bowl of ramen which wasn't that big is just too much. $15 would make me consider going again.

I've always enjoyed coming to Jinya for some ramen. However, tonight was incredibly disappointing. A group of my friends decided to celebrate the easter weekend by eating out. All of us are first year engineering students at UBC and utilize very few occasions to spend money eating out as it is not our own but our parents money that we currently have to spend. Today, after a couple of friends including myself had given tips for the table, one of our friends who was short on money did not give a tip. The waiter then targeted and asked my friend if there was anything wrong with the service. To which my friend responded "everything was great". The waiter proceeded to say describe how "insulting" it was that he did not receive a tip from that one friend. I was shocked, but because of ladies that were with us tonight, did not push any limits. A great night ruined by a waiter shaming a student for being short on money. Disgusting.
