This is our favourite Chinese restaurant. Always excellent food; always nice service. Always crowded as a result! Make a reservation.

A hidden gem on the Kingsway. Was brought here by a friend after skiing and soon became a regular customer. There’s no other restaurant has better Northwestern-Chinese dishes than here. Recommend almost everything on the menu——but pay attention to the nice owner’s recommendations——she knows the best dish of the day!Tips: cash or debit only, NOT accepting credit cards

The lady serving us was wonderful, taking good care to tell us about the food and the origins as it was an our first time there. The Xi’an pork burger was flavourful and the pork and chives pan fried dumplings were great. Fresh made noodles as well were well made. Will return for sure.

Went at 6pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was surprisingly empty. Around 6:30pm people started coming in and it was full house soon after.Haven’t been here in years because it’s a bit far for me but food was still good and didn’t disappoint!Chicken have a nice flavour to them. The beef in beef noodle was surprisingly good. Hand pulled noodles is always great, I don’t like the one with meat though so I opt for #12. The pork burger lack a little bit of salt, but it was not bad.Service was friendly and my tea cup are always refill before it run out.

This place was so lovely. The owners/staff working were so warm and welcoming, describing the food options and making sure the spice options were good for my kids. We tried the pork 'burger', cucumber salad, boiled pork dumplings and the hand cut noodles with pork and chili oil. They were all exceptionally executed and the chili oil was a standout with a nice level of heat and layered warm spice flavours. We will be going back!

My new favourite Chinese restaurant. A beautiful cosey environment and family run restaurant

The lady boss is very busy (probably not enough staff), but the service is OK.The three-in-one spinach dough is very special (highly recommended) and the price is reasonable (17.9CAD); but the celery dumplings are acceptable (because the filling is not outstanding). If you are not full, you can order Roujiamo (the dough is grilled very well)

We went here for lunch. Ordered some onion pancakes and biang biang noodles. I ate everything including the sauce/broth in the noodles. I'm coming back for sure. Noodles were slightly salty, but that could have been because I threw quite a abit of hot sauce into the dish.

Biang biang noodles are thiccc it's a perfect chewy texture, al dente to perfection. Must get their prawn grilled with chili oil. You will eat the prawn and be satisfied because the crispy texture and prawn flavour/aroma is powerful. Not too salty at all.Staff is very caring and attentive. Homey vibe which is always a plus.

Food is delicious! However given how small the restaurant is with only 5 tables, the reservations system is stupid. Sometimes they take reso other times they don't, it's very inconsistent and I would be told that no table is available after driving all the way from coquitlam, when there are 3 table empty that are 'reserved'. Hope they change that.
