Hands down best sushi we’ve had out of Japan. So many local fish option, and incredibly fresh. The local uni was a standout, I’ll be dreaming about it until we can come back. If you stray outside of the amazing nigiri and sashimi options, get the Tofino roll.The atmosphere is unassuming and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more attentive. And all so affordable!New favorite spot for us!

Best sushi I’ve had in many years. This wonderful neighborhood, family-run restaurant offers terrific food for the price. The ambience is no-frills, but the service is endearing and attentive. I was recently diagnosed gluten-intolerant, and the wonderful waitress rather joyfully helped me know which items on the menu were safe for me. And then everything I ordered was fantastic. Plus, the sake she recommended was good, too.Just a fun and genuinely enjoyable experience. We’re going back soon.

I tried this place a few times over the years and I usually get their Roll Combo or the Spicy Tuna Don. Sushi is very fresh tasting with good flavour.While the food itself is delicious it's the staff that keeps me coming back! Whether I'm eating in or just ordering take out, the staff at Kaide always make me feel welcomed and appreciated.Truly some of the best service I have received here in Yaletown, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some warmth and kindness in what's often regarded as a cold and isolating city.

The best sushi in Vancouver in my opinion. Been going there regularly for it's got to be close to 20 years or so now and we still love it. The ingredients used are of high quality and it really comes out in the flavours of the dishes.Kaide's house special marinated tuna is absolutely delicious and their homemade tomago is the best I've ever tasted and I've been to Japan!The small family-run establishment is very welcoming and we look forward to our weekly visits!
Kaide Sushi on Richard Street in Downtown Vancouver is a fantastic dining option. The restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious sushi. The fish is always of high quality and the presentation is impeccable. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. The ambiance is inviting and the restaurant is always clean. Overall, Kaide Sushi is a top-notch sushi restaurant in Downtown Vancouver.
Absolutely delicious nigiris are found here! The two kind servers and the sushi chefs are looking out for your taste buds and they would want up to get their local BC uni ($6). It is often sold out but it's probably the best Uni you can get in town. I don't want to rave too much because I don't want my Uni to always be sold out but this place deserve the recognization.
