We had just finished our yoga class across the street and were looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Caveman Cafe was pretty empty so we decided to go there. They had a lot of pastries and cold sandwiches to go as well as a mediterranean brunch/lunch menu. The space is pretty big and our servers were very friendly! Best part about this cafe was their pricing, we got their shakshuka brunch for $12.99!! Their risotto meal was $9.99! It is very difficult to find such good brunch pricing given the portion size. Their food was subpar overall. I really liked their shakshuka and empress kabobs which came with rice, grilled tomato, and pickled onions. Their risotto was rather bland and their mocha iced coffee felt like water. I think their mediterranean food is pretty good in general! Service was good overall, pretty fast! I would come here again to try some of their other mediterranean menu options :)

I used to love coming here cause it was healthy and delicious until I found a hair in my bowl. To top it off, I saw a mouse running back and forth near the door to Tinseltown. I stopped coming back ever since.

Always the friendliest staff, the best quality food, and really a place that really cares about the community! So not only is the Monster Burrito the best bang for the buck I know of in Vancouver, but I often seen them helping out the locals as best they can while I’m there!

Lovely to see a place with all keto food!I had the tiramisu and the taste was amazing. I didn’t like the matcha cheese cake much, maybe because I don’t like matcha much, or maybe because no one likes it because I felt it wasn’t as fresh as the tiramisu.

Very good food and great service! I wish we lived closer, we'd be there all the time.

The keto matcha latte cake was disappointing. I could hardly taste the matcha and I thought it was a little too sweet. When you try to take a forkful, you’ll notice the texture is very crumbly. When I first saw the cake slice in its clear take-out box, it looked very dry, too plain, and thus, not appetizing.

The Keto burger was juicy and tasty. The Keto Shepard Pie is not bad, all beef brisket, but a bit tangy and sour.

I recently went on a trip with my boyfriend to Vancouver over the weekend. I'm on a strict diet for healing gut issues and so it was really hard to find clean food options in the city. That being said, caveman cafe was the spot I honestly wish I could've eaten at the entire time because they were one of only two places in the city with clean keto, paleo, no seed oil options. Not to mention their food was incredible! Especially their Twix bar and Vegan brownie desserts! I also tried to keto lox bagel and it was surprisingly good and interesting to eat. I wish I could've tried more things and I would come back to Vancouver just to eat here again. They give free coffee with the desserts too so that was really nice in the morning. 10/10. Please make one in Houston!!!!

I've been kind of curious about this place for a while, finally tried it and it left a very good impression on me. At first, I thought it was just a keto restaurant, but there are also non-keto options and plenty of choices for vegan and GF diets. I don't follow any of these diets, but the person taking my order made sure that I was aware of everything in my order in case I needed to know. He was super friendly! I went back and forth on whether I wanted hummus in my platter and apologized for being indecisive, and he just laughed it off with me.I had a Tandoori Jackfruit Feast Platter. The feast platters are very customizable: you can choose your protein, sauces, type of rice (basmati or cauliflower), the veggies you want in your salad, and if you want to add any hummus and/or tzatziki dip. I was super happy with the platter I built! The tandoori sauce was as flavourful as I hoped for (and pretty spicy, but that might've just been the jalapeños I added) and the cooling tzatziki went really well with it. It was also very filling! For dessert, I tried the Keto New York Cheesecake. Mixed experience with this. The cheesecake had a very light texture similar to some no-bake cheesecakes, but with the full-bodied tangy flavour of a baked cheesecake, and I really liked how unique it was. But I think it was frozen in the middle and the biscuit crust was a little dry in a freezer-burnt way. There was a dollop of what looked like whipped cream on top but tasted like and had the thickness of butter, which I had to discard because it was too rich for me and didn't have any flavour to contribute.I asked about decaf coffee/espresso when I ordered, and they don't carry it, but tea was suggested as an alternative, so I ordered a green tea. The bag wasn't labelled but it tasted like a sencha which is one of my favourites.Order and pay at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Space is a little tight in the cafe but it's kind of cozy and I found the atmosphere to be welcoming.

This place has the best food, taste and value in the area. Staff have also been great to interact with too.
