I love this place! Delicious food with fast and polite service. I used to go here all the time when I went to SFU and now I still try to pop in for lunch whenever I’m in the neighbourhood. I get the katsu curry every time - I’m sure the rest of the menu is great too, but I don’t want anything else, it’s that good!

Best quality Japanese food I've had in over a decade. Fresh, and good portion sizes for a reasonable price. My favourite dishes are the beef teriyaki don, and the spicy salmon roll.

My family and I were passing by and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised about how good it was. If you are around the area, give it a try. Food was fresh and delicious. The miso soup was excellent.

My Japanese friends and I ordered take out and ate outside. The karaage was really good, one of the better ones I've tried in Canada. They used the right meat instead of throwing in random pieces of chicken like some places do. Perfectly fried but not overly so.Not sure what I was expecting with the gyoza when I ordered it, it was pretty standard. My friends had the chicken katsu curry, and katsu curry. I tried a piece and I agree they got the breading down really well. It wasn't too thick or thin, and the meat was juicy. The portion was a bit smaller to what I'm used to in Canada, but it was perfect for my friends who say its similar to what they have in Japan.Lastly we shared the aburi california set. It was a balanced set which I personally really liked *slightly on the expensive side though. In the end, it was pretty decent for Chinese or Korean made Japanese food (going by what my friends saw and tasted)

Solid lunch spot in the heart of downtow.Service is fast and efficient and the location while intimate is comfortable and cozy. The food is excellent with whide selection and great taste. For the price its onenof the better spots for a work lunch or a nice bite during a touristy walk.Prices are surprisingly affordable for the quantity and quality offered but obviously a bit more on the expensive side than your usual lunch fare.If you are looking to elevate your mid day meal this is definetly a gem right off the beaten path and accessible from the universities and offices of downtow

Food is really good and the staff is very friendly. The location is very closed to Waterfront skytrain station. The complementary tea is fantastic too. My only real issue is the amount of dust on the lights that hang above the tables. Otherwise love. Love the decor and the display food in the front window. Definitely have gone several times and probably will again.

Menus are generally cheap. So it wasn't burdensome and the taste was good. I think I'll go often.
