Rude staffWhen I ordered I asked the cashier for a coffee with Splenda and cream, he pointed to the self serve area and said you can get them there. After I got my order I went over to the area and there was no Splenda so I went back and asked for it and he said we don’t have any (then why didn’t you say that when I was ordering so I could have modified my order to add a syrup?). I go back to the self serve area and they only have a jar of dark brown sugar (Demerara sugar). I go back again and ask him for white sugar and he says condescendingly “we don’t have white sugar” and then immediately turns away from me.What kind of coffee shop doesn’t have white sugar?Terrible service

Visited this spot a few times during my stay in Vancouver and it was fantastic every time. Big fan of their vanilla lattes and zucchini chocolate

I was happily surprised that this didn’t feel like a tropey beach-themed/adjacent coffee shop from a Hallmark movie. While it is bright and airy, and proximate to the beach, it also takes seriously its participation in the community, offering a sweet little in-house use library, complete with community resources and sensory bins for all kinds of accessibility needs. It also helps that the coffee, baked goods, and sandwiches are pretty good, and their coffee off sales are stellar!Kid-friendliness: While the shop is small, there is an in-house library full of kids books, and sensory bins available on request for those with accessibility needs.

Every time I passed by, the cafe always seemed to be crowded with customers! It's one of my favorite cafes because the interior is warmer and more unique than other cafes, but I haven't been able to go often because there are often no seats.Next time I want to try the sandwich too!Americano was delicious haha

A very friendly coffee shop! Hand blended teas made in house, the cinnamon bun was to die for, the perfect amount of cinnamon no raisins or walnuts :) great pulled long espresso ? Perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or tea break before taking a walk along the beach.

Nestled just a short walk from the bustling Kitsilano Beach, Kits Beach Coffee is a delightful surprise for both coffee aficionados and casual beachgoers alike. Upon entering, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the gentle hum of a friendly, local crowd. The interior strikes a charming balance between modern chic and homely comfort. With its rustic wooden tables and a splash of greenery, it's a space that invites you to unwind. The outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days, offering a splendid view of the beach and a chance to soak in the Vancouver vibe. As for the coffee, it's evident that Kits Beach Coffee prides itself on quality. The espresso was expertly pulled, featuring a robust flavor profile with just the right amount of acidity. The latte art on my cappuccino was a delightful touch, indicating the barista's attention to detail.

Kits Beach Coffee is a charming spot that offers fantastic coffee, a cozy ambiance, and a lovely view. It's an ideal place for a morning pick-me-up before a beach stroll or a relaxing afternoon escape. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The coffee is always cold and there is only a very small selection of mediocre baking. The oat milk always tastes funky like it's been stored improperly. At least Bean Around The World had a proper lunch selection. It could be so much better than it is. If the Lulu Lemon headquarters wasn't close by they would be really quiet. That staff are super unfriendly hipsters that seem annoyed to be working. Pretty sure I've never seen anyone smile.
