We always go to Kobe for special occasions such as anniversary and each time is a great experience. For our 35 th anniversary we decided to dine here and once again we had an exceptional experience. The service was superb, the Japanese chef was so funny, very entertaining and the food as always was sooo delicious. They even gave us an ice cream with sparkle and the chef drew a heart out of the veggies and wrote happy35th. That was so awesome. It truly made our 35th anniversary very memorable indeed. Highly recommended!

It's such a fun environment! The staff are so solicitous and welcoming. The lounge has fabulous cocktail options. When our group moved upstairs, we thoroughly enjoyed the show as our dinner was prepared. We had the Supreme...prawns, scallops, lobster, chicken, steak, and grilled vegetables. The mango ice cream as dessert was fabulous too. We'll be back!

It's obviously an expensive restaurant, but it made me feel like it's value for money.

Pros - chef was entertaining, different dining experience, polite staff, large portions Cons- loud, smokey, expensive, all food tastes the same, all seasoned the same, they rush you through in less than 1.5 hours and tell you must leave even though one of us was still eating!!! our rez was for 7pm, we sat down at 7:15 by the time they seated us and they asked us to leave exactly at 8:30!!!

Our second time as a married couple. First time as parents. Our 4 year old daughter loved the experience. And it will be a tradition moving forward. Best buttery wagyu steak. ??

Definitely for the “experience”.For about 80-100/person, it is absolutely about the experience and excitement of the live chef. The chefs are very entertaining and friendly, have a lot of tricks and overall service is great. Fire is FUN.Seating and atmosphere is acceptable but I personally don’t enjoy eating with a group of strangers, at high tables for over an hour.Food is fine, cooked nicely, portions are good. Soup is quite salty but you can request extra soup and rice at no charge. The flavouring itself is basic, salt and pepper, with lemon. Then two sauces for dipping- so everything essentially tastes the same the entire meal. Drinks are fine. Ice cream dessert included. For the price, I would definitely go to a proper steakhouse or enjoy fresher seafood at Black&Blue or otherwise.Might be a fun idea, but it doesn’t feel so special for an occasion unless you enjoy loud environments as it is noisy and there is a birthday (fire, flames, shouting) every couple minutes at the tables around.

Great food and people. Thanks! We went to this place first time for my husband's birthday. The chef was entertaining us and cooked very well in front of us. Great atmosphere. I would love to go back to this place. And we did not bring cash so couldn't give tips to chef directly.. I felt sorry for him. So please bring some cash and enjoying their cooking show! Thanks.

This was the worst dining experience we have had in Vancouver . We were completely rushed through our dinner .. in and out of there in an hour.. five of us went for dinner and all had upset stomachs after.. I would never return here
