Honestly, it’s a slice of back home. Walking in, you’re greeted with a smell that will take you back home where you feel super comfortable and ready. As each minute passes, you get hungrier and hungrier, waiting until that koshary, or that béchamel, or even that rice in milk dessert arrives… You taste it, and all of your worries are over… There’s no more worry; your stomach is happier than ever, and your soul is touched.
I’m ordering from them since they were in Downtown and now I drove 1 hour to the new location to get the most tasty and super delicious koshari….. keep it up guys.
Authentic Egyptian Koshari! Such a pleasure dinning in and having amazing food! We had the Hawawshi, Liver sandwich and the Koshari and I must say coming from Egypt, the taste of the Koshari was spot on, ask for the “Shata” and “ Da’aa” to experience the true taste of Egypt. So happy to have this place represent Egyptian food and will definitely be back and recommend to friends. Best of luck and hope you are able to open branches all across the province!

You couldn’t have a more authentic Koshari on earth, including Cairo!I lived on Koshari when I was in Egypt for 6 weeks while travelling through the Middle East.This small place in Port Moody is a real treasure run by a husband and wife team. They are very proud of their accomplishment of creating a small piece of ?? in ??. The ingredients are super fresh, the sauces are perfect, and the textures are incredibly balanced ( you’ll understand why this is important when eating Koshari).I love this place because they really care about what they are doing here to represent their nation here in their new home. We are blessed to have them, so please support them!Oh and it’s VERY reasonable! Enjoy my friends…this is a delicious delight!?❤️?❤️

First time having Egyptian food. It was tasty and healthy. The family there helped me with the menu and shared their favorites. Lovely family run restaurant. Will come back for the tanjin and platter. Had the hawashi, with their homemade tahini. All their sauces are house made. Will come back again.
