I was expecting to like this place given the reviews but it was not good. I had the peanut noodles with an egg. It was cold and mushy noodles in a bland sauce. The beans had strings that i almost choked on. The egg was overcooked it was brown. If i can make a dish at home, and probably 10x better, then It’s not a place worth going. Home made ice tea was good, and good service too. But 25$ for this feels like a rip off unfortunately.

Went here on a recommendation from friends. Tried stir fried noodles, scallion pancake, sui mai and XLB. Also tried the ginger beef from friends.Everything was good. The problem with living in Vancouver is that the Chinese in this city and top tier. I would put everything we had here just a notch below some of the other top dumpling and noodle spots in the city.Maybe I need to try some other items and chance my review but for the meantime it’s a 4/5 for me. Service was excellent.

We ordered Vermicelli Spinach and Pea Shoots as appetizers. Pea shoots tastes fine but texture is very chewy, Vermicelli Spinach tastes off I think they mixed sauces wrong. We got Beef oxtail and Tibetan noodles as main, they are all great
The noodles were the best noodles I’ve ever eaten!! I love to come here all time and it’s so nice to eat inside there.

Found this place while visiting Vancouver and it was a bit of a hole in the wall. I got an oxtail noodle soup and it was so flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try more!

This place is really tiny and you don’t think much of it on the outside. But once inside you are transported somewhere else. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant is amazing. The dishes are even better, I really appreciate the menu has pictures. Everything we ordered was great.Obviously, try any of their noodle dishes. You won’t be disappointed.
I do recommend this place but I have some pretty inconsistent experiences here. I've had their peanut noodles (not the best), the scallion pancake (ok but the peanut sauce did not pair well for me). I've tried to order their veg dumplings but they are usually sold on (and their website states that). This recent experience was better. I ordered their Lemon Garlic Noodles (green beans, broccoli, and spinach). I choose their cut noodles which were incredible. Easy to sink your teeth in. No spinach but did come with a few pieces of bok choy. Beans were not fresh but the sauce was pretty good. The lemon was a wedge which did add a burst of favor. I finally got their veg dumplings which take approximately 15 minutes to prepare. They have chilli oil, soya, and a vinegar (not black) to make a sauce. The dumplings were less than mid. They were missing the filling and were flat (see pics). Price is decent and place is comfortable. Its a good spot for noodles on their good day

Fell into this place by accident while visiting Vancouver. So glad we did. Wonder to see the noodles made. cumin lamb was out of this world as was the scallion pancake. Peanut noodles portion was huge, we couldn't finish it. Price was very reasonable. Will return next time we visit. Located on W Broadway.

We fell to the 4.4star trap. The reason for two stars is the fact that I had to reorder the food and they brought me two one star dishes.the pork tasted terrible and couldn't eat it, and the secod dish was ok but very greasy and salty.FYI, This is the first time I had to reorder a meal.

Yum :) had XLB plus some of their beef soups. Perfect flavour and texture for a cold winter day. Liked the cozy and slow paced atmosphere during lunch time.

It’s like I was back in Nanjing! We ordered fried rice, ginger beef, hand pulled noodles, and soup dumplings. All were 10/10.Everything tasted home made. You can’t beat homemade.
