The rooftop is always great, but management was not ready for a sunny day as butane tanks were apparently not filled and we got quite cold around 6

We've been sitting for an hour waiting for our food. A very long time. Very unprofessional.

We ended up here because the place we were hoping to go to was booked for the night. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was amazing and knowledgable about the menu and the food was amazing. My spouse and I were so happy our first choice didn’t work out. This is our new first choice in Coal Harbour.

If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!

This bar & restaurant is about to be upgraded and fitted out from 19th Feb 2024. We went last week for lunch & dinner & both times we were impressed with the staff, the food & the location of this restaurant. Crab cakes are very nice. King prawns are very nice! Book ahead once it reopens as I imagine it is going to be a great place to enjoy in the spring.

Great water view, great food, was sat right away for our reservation. Great ambiance. The only downside was when it came time to pay the server handed me the machine with the yes tip option already selected, and the percent option already selected. I of course was going to tip, but having the options already selected for you feels a little sleazy. Felt like she was just in it for the money. Put a little damper on a otherwise great evening.

Had my Sales Director in from the East Coast, so knew this would impress. Amazing view of Vancouver's West Coast, Stanley Park, and the mountaintop peaks, lit up my Grous and Cypress. Service - spectacular. Instantly seated with menus and water. Orders taken and delivered promptly. We split the calamari and our entrees were the Prawn Linguini and the Green Curry. You know when you're SO full, but you can't stop eating because it is SOOOO good? That's Lift for you. There was plenty of meter street parking with only a very short walk. Just a extra note, they have an extra large water bowl for the pups on their walkies. That just tells what a service-minded facility this is.

Had brunch yesterday (Saturday) at Lift Restaurant. AMAZING! I had the brisket breakfast over delicious hash browns all covered with perfectly prepared poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Enjoyed a great time with friends. The staff, waterfront view, the awesome new furniture all added to an exceptional culinary experience we all enjoyed. Highly recommended!!!!!!

We stopped in for a snack and beer, having time to kill before our flight. We were seated in a timely manner in a very high backed chair 2 person. The servers couldn’t see us I’m sure, which delayed service a while. When our server showed he was very good; attentive and helpful. We had a few appies and 2 beer each. The appies were ok not great and small servings (2 crab cakes and a light helping of squid that was not spicy as advertised). Our issue is price. We can go for a decent, filling lunch most places for $100 and a tip. Most places I could get a burger for the 2 crab-cake prices. This visit cost $115 - crazy by any definition.

This was our first time at Lift. We enjoyed the appetizers (sourdough bread and chicken bites). As well as our dinner. The wine recommendations were perfect based on our server's experience. Our dinner was delicious and the kitchen was very accommodating to my request. In addition my birthday dessert was truly enjoyable amd flavorful. We loved the ambience and there was a range of guests from large groups to smaller groups. It appears the restaurant is very accommodating. We did come in the evening so we did not get to enjoy the views however we plan to come back when the days are a bit warmer and longer. Our server was wonderful. We enjoyed our experience from beginning to end.

A lovely dining experience in downtown Vancouver! Highly recommended, popular location so advised to make a reservation to secure a seat!
