Great convenient location, big TV and nice food options. I wanted to check out this place for a while now. Had the chance to come with coworkers and tried out their fish and chips. For me it was the fish and yam fries. The portions were very decent with pretty good flavoring. The salad and pies my colleagues had were just massive. Most of them had to pack some away. We came in a big gang, so the orders were somewhat confusing. And the service was surprisingly nice, especially knowing how annoying we were. Overall great experience. Very nice atmosphere for watching sports. I'll definitely be back. Food 9. Service 8. Ambiance 9. Value 8.5.

The food was well served, normal flavor, nothing to highlight. It was the only restaurant in Vancouver where the waitress's attitude was rude, she didn't like that we asked for more things outside of the initial order.

I was confused by the service.Service wasn’t anything to right home about, but adequate for a pub lunch.ALTHOUGH… my server said something to me that was rude and inappropriate. We paid our bill, but continued to use the washroom and finish our drinks. Before I had time to finish my drink the server came up to me, slid the receipt across my table and said “I don’t know where you come from, but there is a service charge here. We tip.” Very rude and very demanding.Okay I am not Canadian, but I have lived here and been a server 5years, never would I have the audacity to do that.No I did not pay a tip on the machine, I was leaving cash once I finished my drink. But not after that.If you have a “service charge” (that im pretty sure you can only auto apply if you are serving a table of 8 or more, I was a table of 2…) then show included it on the check. I’m a server and I get it, tips are a big part of are living wage, but lady, have some manners.
You MUST get the Cottage Pie...absolutely hearty and tasty. Was visiting from California and just happened to stumble on this place while parking - which is insanely expensive in Vancouver - but the pie made up for the frustration. Glad I stopped by.

Excellent pub experience, good food and fast service. A bit noisy but isn't a pub supposed to be? Scotch egg and Bangers and Mashed were very good. Also can't beat the location if you're downtown
