I had a fantastic experience at Ma Dang Goul. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience.The food was outstanding. Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the bibimbap. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh, and the chef's skill was evident in every bite.What truly set Ma Dang Goul apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable.Overall, I highly recommend Ma Dang Goul to anyone looking for delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. This has been my favourite hole-in-the-wall Korean BBQ place in Vancouver since 2010. My only complaint is the portions have got a lot smaller, to the point it’s not enough food to make a meal for the average person. I ordered the beef bulgogi.

I don’t usually venture out this way as it’s a pain to drive and find parking and transit takes a long time in my eyes but I do love trying new places and my friend loves this place so I can out. The decor was cute and food was good. I got the intestine soup which was very flavourful and a decent amount of intestine in it. I just didn’t like how we always had to wave down the server to get any service.

Small Korean eatery. Service was fine. Venue is fine for a quick meal. Main problem is the food. Broths not flavorful. Sides are bland and few options. We got: Kimchi jigae - just sour, no depth of flavor Bbq galbi - needs bit more cook time on the grill, seasoning was off. Just sweet, not enough soy/umami. Soontofu- this was just bad. Tasteless soup. And I asked for extra spicy and it was barely tickle still. Steamed Mandu - this is probably best thing we ordered and even then just average. Street meter parking. Maybe I've been used to the standard of Korean food in LA after living there so long but this is a place I would never take my Korean friends too. The food is kind of embarrassing. Service was good though.

We've both dined in and ordered from delivery app. Food is consistently a 3/5 both times. It's not the finest Korean food with the best ingredients in town, but portion size is large. Most things taste way too salty for me unfortunately.

This place has been my staple for many years now. It's always very busy. Service is prompt and the food comes out steaming hot. Side dishes and kimchi is amazing. Great place to have hot pot in the winter and cold noodles in the summer. They also give you 5% off if you pay by cash.

Super tasty meal for a great price! The staff are all very friendly but the service was not good. B- The galbi was pretty good, although a little on the sweet side. For $4 you could add on a soondubu and it's a pretty generous portion for the price. The kalgooksoo was also really good, no complaints on that one. Their yachaejeon was really tasty, although it was more of an omelet (very eggy) than a pancake. I was really excited for the samgyetang but it was a little disappointing . Pretty flavorless and the chicken was dry. The rice wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped, but the broth was soothing and delicious.

I cannot comment on the service or ambiance since I ordered food through UberEats, but I can say that they are SO quick at preparing orders. From order input to receiving my food, it took less than 20 minutes! They also had a few deals available on the UberEats app but I didn't opt for any of them since I was only ordering dinner for myself and had no one to share the food with. I opted for the Yangnyeom chicken. It came warm, with plenty of sauce, and had a generous peanut topping. I am usually a really big fan of sweet and spicy but this tasted all sweet and no spicy. If I had to rate the chicken alone, I'd give it a 3.5/10... Their kimchi and chicken mu was Very Tasty though! The kimchi was very fresh and not too fermented and the chicken mu had just the perfect amount of sweetness. They also included a potato banchan that tasted like it was soy marinated. If it had been warmed I probably would've liked it more than cold, though. The rice was also fairly standard, so not much to comment on there!

It said on Google Maps that it closes at 10 o'clock, so I arrived after 8 o'clock and was ordering drinks and food, and suddenly they asked if they could pay first at 9:20. What does it mean when they say it's until 9 o'clock? They didn't even ask me once if it was okay to order until 9 o'clock. We ordered 3 large snacks for 3 people, but there was more than half of the alcohol left, so we drank it in a hurry and left it, so I apologized to the people I went with, saying that not all Korean restaurants are like this.

I really enjoyed the rice cake and dumpling soup!! The soup is delicious and the quantity is plentiful! The kimchi was really delicious too!But it's my first time seeing rice cake dumpling soup with vermicelli and cabbage in it hahahahahahahaha It feels a bit like fusion.The taste was really delicious haha
