Love Mah Milk bar, cozy place to grab a coffee and snack to go or stay in. We stopped in for a coffee and toasties, both were excellent. The owners are so friendly and always greet us with a huge smile. Also, the specialty groceries are excellent and worth stopping in to check out.

Cute place, nice branding. It was so crowded during weekend. Food is simple though.

Stopped in here for a taste of their featured hot chocolate for the Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival and it was delicious!#114 - MR. PAVLOVA LOVAThis is a dreamy, white chocolate drink with a passion fruit twist. It was served with a miniature pavlova made of meringue, fresh cream and fruit. The chocolate drink itself was light (not rich and creamy) but had really good passion fruit flavour. The pavlova had a nice texture and strawberry flavour- the combination was perfect! The loose leaf jasmine tea had really good jasmine flavour despite being on the lighter side. I would have liked it to have kept the leaves in longer for a stronger tea but it was pre-steeped behind the counter.Thé small café has the front section set up with an interesting assortment of groceries for purchase, and the rest of the space split for an ordering counter, prep area and seating (for 6) on one side. There are a few seats outside of the cafe as well.Free street parking can be found around the cafe.Overall, a super cute cafe where I would return to try their baked goods and beverages.Parking: Free street parking in the residential area around the cafe.

One of the owner was such a cool guy, he even invited me to a brewery with his friends for a trivia night after!

Such a cute place to sit and enjoy a coffee! Really great selection with some take home items as well. Food (cheese toastie) was delicious but small and pricey for what it was. Not an everyday cafe but a fun treat!

First time I went I was disappointed by the service, not much enthusiasm but to be fair it was near closing.Second time I went was for hot chocolate festival and the service was much better! I believe it might have been the owners that day which is why they were friendlier. The Mah Iced Coffee is good and the pavlova hot chocolate was too. A tight place though so don't always expect seating.

I have kept my eye on this little bodega before it opened as I drive by Victoria Dr all the time on my way home from going out on the town. I saw as it get renovated and changing their sign awning and I had to park to see what it was all aboutI visited this place literally 2 months after their opening to see if their hype dies down a bit, and came during an off time to see how their little shoppe was doing. The size of this little cafe bodega was literally the size of a modern apartment downtown!! But a very strong and very well stocked kitchen as it is opened for everyone to see.I love the layout of the shoppe, as they have a really small section of local flavour items for sale, and tons of options to choose from, and they have fresh produce too. On top of that, they sell my favourite sourdough in Vancouver, Fife Bakery!! I love how they feature tons of local goods and local products within the lower mainland.Their coffee options are an abundance, and on top of that they brew local teas as well. They have iced coffee and they serve a cortado too!! I love it when coffee shops serve cortados.I had an iced coffee that day, and it was delicious, as they add a scoop of ice cream into the cup so it melts and have little small ice cubes too. I enjoyed it a lot and sat outside on the sunny winter day to enjoy the Vancouver weather. This is literally the perfect little cafe bodega for East Vancouver, and I will for sure be coming back for more coffee in the future as well!
