The porchetta is good, though I haven't tried everything on the menu, and the rest seems normal to me. The staff is friendly, but I'm not a fan of the restaurant's decoration. It feels like I'm sitting in a slaughterhouse, which is a bit weird for me.

Great sandwich, rather small for the price, but definitely have a generous portion of meat. Hot sauce is for extra charge. Good word day lunch option.

Porchetta is starting to sit out and get preparred too much in advance, was cold. Most significant change, they are falling victim to shrinkflation. Sandwhiches are getting smaller. Nearly 15$ sandwhich now with tax don't cut down on the meats. Otherwise a good high end sandwhich place.

Ordered the Meat Ball and it was soo incredibly spicy that I could not eat it! Does not say it’s spicy on the menu what, a waste of money, literally threw it in the trash.

TL;DR: we’re from seattle and this place has sandwiches worth driving for.my family comes up to vancouver for the weekends as a getaway from seattle. we base our trips around meals and playgrounds we google or read on popular social media outlets as we have small kids. having overexerting themselves early on in the day, we had to forego our plans and get a meal for ourselves (adults) and found ourselves at M & B. my husband got the porchetta and i had the buffalo chicken. both were excellent. i repeat: excellent.bread- meat - veg - sauce (on both)the bread was perfect. the simplicity of it all was perfect— not overly sauced, not heavy nor bland on every layer. i truly enjoyed every bite and albeit being full, i could’ve had another one. having had their sandwiches, i would drive up to vancouver from seattle on a day i need a good one. friendly staff, beautiful space, amazing!

I'm so confused on the low reviews since this has been our regular stop either when heading into Canada or when leaving. There used to be meat & bread locations close to home in Seattle but unfortunately they closed during the pandemic so the only way now to get our meat & bread fix is to cross the border. This location is clean with comfortable seating and appreciate that it has a bathroom as well. They are always so friendly behind the counter and love their meatball and porchetta sandwiches. The only difficultly with this location is parking can be a challenge but looking forward to our return visits.

Came here randomly and ordered their Rueben sandwich - which apparently they only have for a limited time every year. Lucky me because it was exceptionally delicious!! The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The tomato soup I ordered was a perfect pairing. They were sold out of the porchatta that day at ~2:30pm - judging by how many tried to order it while I was eating, it must be their most popular sandwich. The two gentlemen who were working at the time were also helpful. The interior was clean and tidy. I would absolutely come here again if I’m in the area and hopefully catch some other limited time sandwiches!

We liked the buffalo chicken sandwich more than the porchetta (kind of dry). The bread was so hard tho
