I'd give it 5 stars if the chairs and seating wasn't so uncomfortable. We waited 35 minutes so some delish food but the seating was just not comfortable, it was a bit pricey too for the amount of food you get but yes 4 out of 5 for sure.

This place is a gem. The food is exquisite. There is plenty of options for everyone, but they don't make substitutes. The service was amazing and the prices are reasonable for downtown Vancouver. We visited during busy time time so be prepared to wait upto 15minutes for a see table, but I guarantee it's worth it.If you find yourself in Vancouver, this restaurant is a must-visit for breakfast or brunch.

We were surprised at how busy it was on a Thursday morning, but once we started into our meals, we quickly understood. We had a short wait to be seated and were well attended to throughout our visit.

My family members and I loved the brunch food items and our drinks including cappuccino and herbal tea. The cafe has an ambiance that we all enjoyed.

Everything was good, I would say it’s a little overhyped and doesn’t really worth the 1-1.5 hour wait that they usually have. We came in the morning on a weekday so we only waited 10 minutes without a reservation.

I really like the food and the atmosphere. I wish they could switch to halal suppliers so we would come more often and get more options to try.

The food was fantastic! It had great taste and delightful flavors that pleased all of us.- Their lavender latte is delicious, and the hot chocolate is also excellent.-The waffles are warm, delicious, and absolutely perfect. We especially enjoyed the mixed berry jam and the dark chocolate dips they came with. These are my favorites; you must try them!-The Fricassée was also excellent, served piping hot.If you find yourself in Vancouver, this restaurant is a must-visit for breakfast or brunch.

Amazing experience! The wait was long but the service really brought the mood up and made the experience. The mother was in a raging terrible mood due to relatives and family shenanigans back home. After being seated our waitress (Krissy) was constantly discreetly paying attention to the goings on at the table. We had a mini coffee fiasco with the mother who found the coffee a bit strong, and tried to water it down herself with some water. There was minor mess and Krissy not only came around immediately to help clean the spill, but also to switch out mugs and mention that we could ask her to dilute the coffee later as well. Between picking up dropped hats and smoothly clearing plates between dishes, she single handedly turned around a foul mood and saved a very hectic morning. She was super attentive, helpful, and proactive without hovering. The fricasse and frittata were excellent, by the way.

Lavender latte and waffle and Fricassée were amazing but the burger was not good. It didnt look like burger its more like a pizza. Plating was not special. There was naan Instead of bread bun, I cant say it had good texture.Anyway servers were kind. I like the ambient of this restaurant. It was good experience!

I've walked by this place numerous times and there was always a line out the door with a 45+ minute wait.I should've bought a lottery ticket this morning because there wasn't a line and I was seated immediately. About 5 minutes after being seated, the crowd arrived and the line out the door was more than 20 people long. The staff was nice, friendly and very professional.Though everyone says to order their waffles, I opted for the Sandwich au Roti de Boeuf (braised short ribs sandwich). The braised ribs, arugula and sunny side up egg were like a symphony of flavor.Their mocha is rich, smooth and creamy, exactly what you'd expect when using beans from 49th Parallel Coffee.Definitely recommend.

Me and my husband went to have brunch last Sunday and we have awful experience. We went to this place and manager on the front asked to wait 45 to one hour so we waited outside 45 mins in the cold weather and went inside to check after 45 mins and he said table still not empty so asked to come back in 10 mins or so. There was two ladies before us and one worker was almost giving them seat but then manager came and asked them to come after 45 mins. I was behind those ladies and listening all the conversation. After one hour and 15 mins finally we got seated. By chance we were talking to a couple seating next to us that they came half an hour ago and got seated right way. I talked to the manager and he convinced me that couple got reservation so I thought it's fair enough since we didn't do reservation. When we were walking to the car after having our brunch there, by chance we met the same couple again and they told us that they never did any reservations because of extra $ 10 charge. We have to wait there for 1 hour and 15 mins and it's not fair that they didn't respect our time and we have to wait outside in cold weather and gave them business . We spent 80$ there plus tips for this kind of customer service so frustrating. Management should look into this matter seriously, it's not fair to the customers.

I found the food not as delicious as expected, Paella was too salty and too sour for me. Had to wait quite a while to get a table. The coffee is also very mediocre, although there is a sentence written on the front door of the shop that seems very confident about the quality of the coffee. ?
