One line review: all right but nothing special. We found this place through Yelp. Since it was highly rated, we thought we should give it a try. Mimi's is actually housed inside of a bar. The fact that there were people waiting outside for their burgers was an encouragement; maybe this would be good. We ordered: = Two hunnie hungry burgers (fresh produce, American cheese - yuck, average bun, decent meat) - Fries (decent) - Onion rings (again, decent) In general, this was just all right -- not special, especially at this price point. Service was cheerful. We parked for free a block away. Bottom line: It was worth a shot but probably not a second shot.

BUT it's my #1 choice that offers delivery!Perfectly cooked 2 smashed patties & cheese between delicious soft sauced buns. I usually add lettuce and pickle to mine.They are located in Glitch Arcade Bar. So, you could go out for a night of fun or order in, Netflix and chill.

Communication regarding takeout orders is severely lacking. Maybe I should've been more aggressive on a busy Sat evening, but I had a lot of empathy for the front desk hostesses managing the busy line for sit-ins.But having to stand out in the rain for over 30 minutes just to get a burger and cold fries? Not worth the wait. I was told it wouldn't take more than ten minutes to be ready, yet no one attempted to bring it out or check with me even though I stood right next to the check in stand the whole time.Maybe set up a clear texting system or at least have the food staff attempt to come out and check if orders are already done. I just wanted a simple takeout order and clearly this was the wrong place to go.

Mimi's is by far my favorite smash burger! It's so tasty but not too oily to the point where you feel like dying afterwards. I had the cheeseburger with a side of onion rings while my boyfriend had the double with fries. The onion rings were perfectly crispy while again, not too oily! The burger was soooo good. It had just the right amount of ingredients. I could have eaten two lol. They also offer ketchup, mayo, and aoili dip.Since Mimi's is a popup inside Glitch right now, you have to go outside to a booth located in front of the entrance to order your food. You pay then and there, and they will deliver your food to wherever you are sitting inside Glitch. It was super convenient!

I have to admit I'm confused by all the hype for these burgers. My first thought biting into the burger was "Wow their buns taste exactly like McDonald's buns!" Then I looked over to my partners face. He looked sad. I got the fried chicken burger they had on the menu that day and my partner got the Hunnie.. Hungry Burger burger which he stated, "literally tasted like a McDonalds burger that was 10% better but 3x the cost." We also ordered one side of fries. Decent. Nothing to write home about. The ordering system was a tad confusing too, to go outside and buzz. Glitch is a great bar. Great concept. Love the Ryan Reynolds bathroom. But.. It's hard to justify paying for a $15 burger though when McDonald is less than 1km east or 500m north.
Review by a farm kid! Why why why do burger places not use real cheddar? It's such a shame to have great food and then throw some processed plastic tasting fake cheese on it... Woops I mean "American cheddar" - though the processed cheese was unfortunately invented by a Canadian - it jokes makes a farm kid want to cry ? besides the cheese situation, had the chicken burger and the chicken was juicy and not too salty, great batter. Fantastic all round burger, good fries too. But the cheese ?

I normally don’t like burgers but my husband loves burgers. I must say these are burgers I would definitely eat again! It was also such a great experience at The Glitch. 10/10 would recommend!

High quality burgers and fries with a signature taste. The staff is friendly and helpful. To order from Mimi's you need to flag someone down and use the terminal outside. The patio has additional large screen TVs so you can keep up with the action inside.

I've been on a personal mission to seek & find the most awesome local burger ever out there! So what am I talking about? Well I challenged myself to find that 'ultimate' satisfying burger & I think I've just found it! Let me tell you first which burger spots I hit up this summer so far! McDonald's (I know don't judge) ... yes I went there & tried the Quarter Pounder & it was delicious! Wanted to try the Grand Big Mac however, the calorie intact would be double too high for me. Isn't this just a redux of the ol Big Mac from the 80s that actually was big before McDonald's management shrunk it in the 90s & still called it a Big Mac!?! I also went to the secret gem - IT Char Burger in New Westminster. The bun is lame but overall - a good tasting burger. Then I found Mimi's in Kitsilano on Broadway & whoa ... I tell you the meat in this burger went straight into my bloodstream & immediately started pumping away through my veins!!! You ever had that sensation? It's pricey but we're talking 'smashed' burger here as in - hand pressed! It takes approximately 10mins to prepare & so you know that beef isn't just sitting under a heat lamp dry as cardboard, waiting for you to come along. One of the operators of Mimi's is a local Rap & Hip Hop legend & X of Swollen Members group - Prevail. See pic. Please don't ask him to bust out & drop a rap for you! I went with the cheese burger & half fries / onion rings! Order was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised to be honest! Check out hours of operation online & make note - Mimi's currently runs 'Pop Up' out of the funky cool - Glitch bar. The earlier you get here the better as Mimi's does sell out!
