Stay away. Racism at its peak and no customer service. If a restaurant can lose their reputation over a washroom, this is it. I have never been so humiliated in my life. Not being a regular in Gastown, I went into Momo Sushi, a place I have gone to and even invited friends, spending a total of over $120 for the both occasions. I went in with the intention of using a washroom, and after finding out I wasn't buying sushi, they went on to be very aggressive and rude and direct me to the public washrooms across the road. I offered to still pay for the washroom as I was not in a position to go across the road and shared that I am a regular customer that has already been with them a few times. They insisted I buy something. At this point, I was done with them. I'm just shocked that even as someone who has gone and spent my dollars with them, I could not be allowed the least dignity of using a washroom. Should I mention that I am black, and this is the first overt discrimination I have experienced. Please avoid this restaurant, to lose a customer and reputation over a washroom to someone who was actually your promoter, is pretty ridiculous.

I been coming here for 4 years and it is absolutely the best sushi place I know . Highly recommended .
Tucked away near the Steamworks, Momo sushi was surprising both in quality and price. The restaurant itself is one level but has stairs sloping down to the kitchen due to the building itself. The food was good and was delivered quickly by attentive servers who are friendly and efficient. It does get busy during peak hours but you will not regret having a quick bite here.
