Out of this world waffles. I've never been to Brussels, but I don't know how they could beat Nero. The Liege Benedict Waffle with Avocado was incredible, I never considered savory waffles before. It was crispy, fresh, and well flavored. I'm not usually a fan of spicy food or hot sauce, but their homemade hot sauce was a perfect blend of acidity, flavor, and heat adding just the right zest. The Banella Brulee Belgian Waffle was also exquisite, just the right amount of chewy waffle with the velvety chocolate whipped cream and ice cream.The service was top notch, we were immediately greeted with a smile, and were initially seated on the patio with a slight reluctance on our part. As we were seated, we were informed that a seat inside became available and they quickly accommodated us inside. The food and beverages came out incredibly fast, and I felt well taken care of.The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect, a great blend of wood, metallic elements, tile, leather, and live plants giving a very balanced industrial yet cozy vibe.Prices were quite fair for the portions and quality. We ended up having a bill just over C$50 for two drinks and two entrees.Would highly recommend. No complaints.

Expect an hour wait on arrival, they are always busy. But the food is divine!! Very Instagramable and just as delicious as it looks. Definitely worth putting on your bucket list.

We got the small waffles for to go.I highly recommend their vanilla custard! The double chocolate was just okay. The rest are too sweet for my taste.Best to eat it fresh, it is still chewy. If it gets cold, it’s not that good anymore.

What a cute little place. We were sat outside because it was full on a Monday morning. It was raining but the patio covers and heat lamps kept us warm and dry. We have one savoury and one sweet waffle and both were delicious. The staff were friendly, smiling and calm. The booths inside looked adorable and intimate too. Good for families, dates or business meetings even.
My waffles were good but the latte I ordered with it arrived cold. I waited for the server to check back on food so i could tell them about it but unfortunately no one came by. The washrooms were extremely dirty clean paper towels touching the dirty ones. (Attached pics) Uhm covid? You would think places would try to keep clean to avoid a covid outbreak but i was shocked to witness this. When we had finished our food we waited another 10 minutes to find our server so we could pay and leave as it was freezing inside. Later I was asked how the food was after i had paid lol. Wont be going back.

They deserve every star! Nero is the perfect choice for a first date, coworker get together, catching up with a friend or even just going on your own to get some mindfulness time! It is always one I recommend when visiting Vancouver since you can’t go wrong! Their breakfast is amazing especially the eggs Benedict, and the portions are a great size! this is the Vancouver version of Demetres (a popular Toronto dessert restaurant).
Stopped here while my buddies and I were on vacation in Vancouver and we were not disappointed. The waffles are delicious and the different options for flavours and waffles allow for anyone to enjoy this place. The atmosphere is fine but the only downside to this place is if you’re seated on the stool tables as the stools do not move which can be annoying at times. Overall if you have a sweet tooth and want a fresh waffle definitely give this place a shot.
Syrup Ripoff - was recommended to go to this restaurant by my hotel. The food was good, but the portions were small, but the biggest surprise was when we got the bill.They charged $3.50 for a eyedrop of maple syrup. What an absolute rip off when I asked the waitress why they charge for syrup that goes on the waffles she said because that’s the way they do it to make extra money. Everybody avoid this place what a rip off.
