Coming from Southern California with a large Vietnamese community I was so happy to land upon this spot visiting Vancouver. It truly tasted like I was at home with a home cooked meal. What a sweet restaurant name for grandparents.

We didn't have much room for anything else and GOSH, I wish we haven't eaten yet! This was yummy so I'm confident that the other stuff in the menu is good as well. We got these mini pillow cakes to go but ended up eating them outside since they smelled amazing. They got some colorful benches outside and the service for ordering to-go was quick! When we went in, the place looked bright and clean with ample amount of seating. Vancouver parking seems to be similar everywhere else but I'd say they got more spots here than in downtown. It's cheaper too! I'm just visiting but I'd recommend it for anyone local and in the area!

A small and cute restaurant with really delicious food!I was not disappointed that we came here and would definitely come again! The Pho Ga was fresh and full of flavour. Also the portion size was just right.?

Had the "BÚN CÁ CHẤM HÀ NỘI STYLE FISH VERMICELLI PLATTER" and it was my favourite meal of 2024! The fish lettuce wraps were unbelievably tasty, and the spicy tomato soup had plenty of quality vegetables, prawns, and super tasty house made meatballs. The renovation is really great, service was perfect (they shared how to best enjoy the dish), had my own tea pot and water....and was there for happy hour (2-5pm) for 15% off ?Will be back here soon, likely with a friend or 2.

Great noodles ?I happened to meet a friend there who had already ordered and took only a couple bites of her food (she'd been drinking a little) and said she was finished. Before I could say I'll gladly have them or to put them in a to-go box (I had drank prior as well) I believe they were thrown away?Hope it went to an employee or someone else and didn't go to waste!

Service and food were awesome. I had a headache during dinner and the prawn salad rolls were very light and refreshing. A little sweet, a little tangy, very tasty!

Came here on Sunday for lunch. They have a few tables but it can get cramped. Ordered the special beef pho and my bf really enjoyed it. He has leftovers because it was a big serving. I enjoyed my fish bahn mi with curry mayo but I felt the fish portion was a bit too small. Great flavors. Fave dish was the papaya salad which was very refreshing. I think it's a great spot for Vietnamese food and quick service.

Absolutely delicious and the servers are very friendly! Also, love the tiny cafe atmosphere :)

Flavours are standard, presentation and cleanliness is above average, portions are a bit small compared to your standard vietnamese restaurant, but tip options start at 18% :o

We don’t normally come to downtown, but heard good reviews about this place and I wanted to try their soft shelled crab hotpot that’s on their special menu at the moment. It didn’t disappoint. It was really good and satisfying! Had a full happy tummy home :) we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, the hotpot, chicken wings, butter beef rice bowl and the salted caramel cream viet coffee. Everything was delicious. Although I feel like the food are slightly on the saltier side, just go easy on the sauce that comes with the rice/vermicelli and the hotpot. Soup was already well seasoned. Their homemade chili sauce is worth trying too. Service was wonderful and our server was really friendly and nice.
