The banh mis are pretty good although not my favourite. The coffees though are exceptional. They have the best coconut coffee in my opinion! I come here just for the coffee sometimes.

I've been to this place many times, almost every time it's good, but today I went to buy 2 servings of char siu sticky rice to take out and found the sticky rice was raw and hard. I took a photo and sent it to the restaurant's fanpage but they only seen but no response. Very disappointed in their customer service!

Been coming here for almost 2 years. Love their 4 layers coffee (Bac Siu) and passion kumquat. Staff is always so nice and friendly. The Haiphong style veggie Banh mi is very great as well.

This is my favourite spot for banh mi, primarily because they use a spicy sauce instead of jalapeños to add flavour to their sandwiches. I don't like green peppers but love spicy food, so these guys are perfect. They have good portions at reasonable prices, and they've recently expanded their menu to include more types of dishes. The only thing that could be improved is if they had slightly more comfy seating, but it's a small joint so it's better not to spend too much time sitting down anyway.
Ordered this for me and my mom (ubereats) super disappointed, chicken was stiff and hard and over cooked... the balance between carbs/protein with veggies wasn't good, needed more veggies. It was just... really off, because the meat tasted old and overly microwaved. Felt bad i had to give this to my mom to eat. Won't order from here again.

Ngon has quickly become my favourite takeout spot! Food is always good, quick & the price is right.I think that between my husband and I, we’ve tried most of the banh mis… and they’re all good. Our favourite is the Ngon Special.We also like the Char Siu sticky rice and the grilled pork vermicelli!
Was trying to find a northern Vietnam dish served in a sizzling plate with beef, pate and egg all covered in gravy. Ngon was recommended and I could see that they have something like this on their menu. Came by on a Saturday around noon. Ngon is on Kingsway just east of Victoria Ave. There are five tables inside and it appears it is mostly a take out place. I came for the Banh My Chao so ordered that. I asked for tea or water and the staff advised they are not allowed to provide glasses of water at the direction of the owner. Very odd. And tea was also not an option. Hmm. The plate was very impressive in terms of presentation. And it came with bread. The taste of the beef and pate was pretty good and the egg was cooked perfectly. There were no tomatoes on the plate which is not a big deal. But it was all sitting in oil and very greasy. Our server was very pleasant and the food did come out quickly. There were positives and negatives to this food experience but I have no plans to return.

I ordered BBQ Pork on Vermicelli with Spring Rolls and it’s really good! They have lots of choices for Banh Mi too so I would try that next time. I also liked the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. It’s mild and not too sweet. The restaurant ambiance is so calming and staff is really nice too [thanks for asking if I like my milk tea with cheese foam or not! :) ]
