Amazing food, amazing staff, and very fun overall experience! The outside has no signs and is very inconspicuous. However, the inside is full of life and fine dining!

The food was delicious, and they were accommodating for any food sensitivities. But the service was very mediocre and felt condescending. The staff did not acknowledge us until almost 25+ minutes after being seated, and for the rest of the service they would only come to us to clean table and to serve the next dish.Additionally, for the amount you’re paying for pasta and a glass of wine, you’d expect decent service.

Ok. We finally tried Oca.We tried to make it for 5pm but was tied up. Got there by 545. Put our names on the list and was told we would be for the 8pm seating. It was a rainy and windy Saturday so we decided to grab a bite of pizza and roam around. At times we wondered if it was worth the wait. It's only pasta after all. After careful deliberations, we decided to hand in there.We finally got the text and headed in.Very simple menu. Ordered the tortelli, spaghetti, and the bolognese. To be fair I was never a fan of stuffed pasta or bolognese.Tortelli came. The pasta was silky, it was perfectly al dente, it was smooth, it was soft, it was perfect! What sorcery is this?!?Spaghetti came. Picking it up with the tongs I felt it may have been too soft. It felt like worms or udon. Hopes were dashed a bit. Bit into it, perfect texture, perfectly creamy, wonderful!!Bolognese came. Again, never was a big fan of it for the lack of meatyness. The waft of the steam from the pasta mound made its way up my nostrils as they brought the plate. Immediately hit with the strongest braised meatyness. What the devil?! Twirled the coated noodles around the fork and into my mouth: the richness of the sauce that can only come from hours on the stove, the same silky smooth yet firm in the second half of the bite was simply perfection.I've had a lot of pastas in a lot of places. This one takes the cake. For those lucky enough to sit at the bar...the precision placed mirror acts like a TV screen giving you a real-time video of your pasta being made live for you.Keep up the amazing work here guys!!

Got in line at 4:25pm and had the first seating with everyone else who came early. It was worth the wait vs coming in later and getting turned away or waiting hours to eat.We did the a la carte menu vs the tasting menu. We tried a couple antipasta dishes. The anchovies salad and the other side was good. We had a couple different pasta dishes. Good meal start to finish.

I haven’t had a meal that’s blown me away in a while but Magari by Oca did just that. We had the anchovy salad, maiale tonnato, spaghetti cacio e pepe, conchiglie amatriciana, & the spinach ricotta tortelli. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The ingredients were simple but good quality and you could taste everything shine in each dish. 10/10 would go back and recommend to all my friends and fam. Thank you for the top-notch hospitality & fantastic meal!

Simply put, no one is doing it like Magari. The food, the ambiance, the STAFF!!! Everything is the best you’ll ever get. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you haven’t gone yet, what are you waiting for!

Started lining up at around 4:20pm on a weekday. We were a group of four and were the fourth group in line, got in when they opened at 5:00pm. We didn’t experience the poor service as some reviewers experienced. The service was excellent!! All of the staff were super friendly! The pasta was not bad… but certainly not the best I’ve had in Vancouver, as some have suggested. Honestly, this place is overhyped and overpriced. But I had to give their tasting menu a try. We had a great time there, but the food didn’t live up to the hype.

AMAZING. I have been thinking about this pasta for 2 weeks since I went. Highly recommend the tasting menu as the appetizers, pastas, and desserts all surpassed expectations. We arrived at about 4:30 on a Saturday and were fourth in line for the second seating at 7pm, which was what we were expecting. Smooth process if you don't mind waiting a bit, and the wait is definitely worth it.

Came here with a couple of friends and we all ordered the tasting menu, which was spectacular. One of us is vegetarian and the kitchen accommodated well. The service was great, super friendly, the pastas are incredible. 2 of us thought the squash pasta was the best and the other 2 voted for the caccio e pepe. And the dessert... Jesus. Perfect ending. 1000% would come back
