Original Joe’s is one of the best casual restaurants and bars in Vancouver. They have an amazing selection of draught and a super delicious menu to choose from. We can hang out here for brunch, watch a game on one of the many tv’s, or grab a late nightcap. The service team is incredibly friendly and always inviting. They remember their guests and treat them like family.

Excellent service. I got the chicken strips and my wife got pulled pork. We also got a margarita and an ale, both of which were poured and delivered to our table extremely promptly. It seems they only had one waitress, which was... Interesting. She did a crazy good job getting everyone their food and it only took around 10-15m to cook up. The waitress should be getting a big raise for working alone like this. Seems they are understaffed. Dunno how bad the service would be if it wasnt the busy body that was staffed that night. Kodos. We also had a baby and she did great there.

We had a 1pm reservation and arrived at 12:46pm. We were told to just take any table as the restaurant was not busy. We chose a table and seated ourselves. I was facing the kitchen door window. We placed our order prior to 1pm. At 1:25pm we inquired about our order and was told it would be right up. Five more minutes passed and nothing. I flagged down the manager who told us again that the order would be right up. We had only ordered an appetizer and a burger so it seemed like it was taking a very long time. At 1:39 we asked if they could just pack the food up and we'd take it with us as we had tickets to a 2pm show around the corner. At 1:56 we received our ‘to go' order. More than an hour after we placed the order. It wasn't such a big deal that our order was forgotten it was that the server and the manager both lied and said it wasn't forgotten, it was because the restaurant was really busy and their was only one cook. I could clearly see two men working/cooking in the kitchen from where I sat and all six tables that were occupied in the restaurant had their food including two tables that came in after us. When we did get the ‘to go' food the order was incorrect. The restaurant didn't charge us for the food but we also weren't able to eat it as we had to literally run to our show. Not the best experience. I likely won't go back to this location, I do love the restaurant in Abbotsford though and will continue to dine there.

Our waitress was cheerful and even though it was a busy Canucks game night she brought us everything in a timely fashion and still had time to chat with us. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced

Original joes has become a regular favourite spot for me and my friends in the city,We are always greeted with such a friendly welcoming from the start.The food is delicious and it’s a great bar to watch sport or to just relax and have a drink / food .The bartender Emily is amazing, she’s so friendly and she will always go above and beyond to make sure we are looked after, it all makes our visits that much better,Will definitely be returning !
The bartender Justice was an absolute pleasure to hang out with. Ten out of ten comradery.
