Came for high tea and it was overall a good experience. Service is a little slow when it’s busy so we waited around for drink delivery and refills. Two of our 3 towers were missing more than one item, but when brought to their attention they were delivered eventually. Some items tasted fresher than others (most of the sandwiches seemed to have bread on the stale side) but it’s good value for what you get. Decent high tea for this area.High tea only avail on weekends with a reso. Approx $60 per personJan 2024

Came for high tea , high energy building quite noisy . The staff were amazing and checking in just the right amount . The gentleman who seated us was fantastic when I inquired about the delicious macaroon he came back with two more to go !The food was 5/10 strange flavours in some of the savory items such as the humus pastry and the egg salad sandwich and the salmon . Some things just tasted to as fresh .Service was 9/10 .

I loved the bright atmosphere ✨️My breakfast was OK, the sourdough had a different taste and my over easy egg was more over hard. Just not the same without a runny yolk... The presentation of the food was very nice and colorful. This was my first visit, and I will give it another go in the future.

solid brunch spot to try in downtown! definitely recommend a reservation as there's usually a line-up. inside is refreshing, decorated with greenery and i appreciate how spaced out the tables are (not too close to the party beside me).in terms of food and drinks, i wasn't a huge fan of the coffee but that boils down to my personal preference. the avocado toast was good, flavour combinations i hadn't tried before with the pickled veg and goat cheese. the huevos rotos was amazingg, brisket super soft and tender, packed with flavour. lastly the fruit crunch bowl appeared a smaller portion but was just as filling, with a variety of creative toppings.overall, i enjoyed my experience here! our server was friendly and checked on us often ☺️

The Eggs Benedict was really delicious, but the French Toast, although tasty, was quite oily and not as healthy as I'd hoped. Additionally, the service felt rushed, with staff eager to clean the table and not taking the time to ask about my preferences for egg preparation. It would enhance the dining experience if the restaurant could slow down a bit and pay more attention to customer preferences.

i came here twice on my trip to vancouver. the first time was quite good, but the second time was honestly such a disappointment. i had a waiter who was not just unhelpful but had an attitude and barely checked in on my mom and I. we had to ask another girl for the bill while he ran food and looked around, my coffee order came wrong and when i asked for the syrup he appeared annoyed with me (i know 100% when my coffee has no flavour in it. sorry!) i've never ever not tipped on a bill before, but i couldn't bring myself to tip. super unfortunate because our waitress the other day was lovely and that's why i've given the stars. the food was okay but $30 for an eggs benedict that is quite small is not ideal.

If you are looking for a corporate event, wedding or other special occasions, I strongly recommend the Palate Kitchen!Staff members are so great to work with, especially Carlo whom is the operations manager to take care of bookings, coordination, and assistance on site etc, you will be impressed by his professionalism and helpfulness. He will make sure everything well taken care of prior, during and after your event! We had the pleasure & opportunity to work with them for a few of our wedding couples and they were all so happy and grateful that they had selected the Palate Kitchen for their weddings. The quality of food & beverage, service were great, and the cost is extremely reasonable! The venue itself is stunning, and you don't need to do too much to transform the whole place because it offers so much elegance and beaty as its.Look forward to working with the Palate Kitchen again soon!

This place reminds me of Hollywood. How?Glitz & Glam from the outside, but when you look close it's not pretty.I can't have milk. I ordered the almond milk double shot latte. Yes yes, very pretty, but it just tasted like steamed almond milk. Anyone who likes strong lattes knows the taste of "the kick" of a double. Here? No kick, no taste...just foam with a pretty image that looked like a cactus...I think. I had to get a straight up drip coffee just to get my morning caffeine fix. Oh....and they charged an extra dollar for the almond milk. So, here's their logic: We're swapping her milk for almond milk...what the hell...let's charge her extra cuz she can't have milk. Moving on.....On the menu, the Avocado Toast has the option of coming with added bacon for $6. I just didn't know they were two tiny pieces of bacon. $3 per strip. Yup.Just so you know.I asked for medium poached, got soft poached, and the egg was tasteless and seemed low grade. The bread was so hard that at one point after my knife nearly gave way.....I thought the bread was gonna frisbee its way to the attorneys' table and canvas itself onto their fancy ties. Luckily it didn't and I just took a break and sipped on my already cold almond milk...double shot wanna-be latte. So, after we nearly spent 70 bucks for a couple of egg dishes and some coffee...it was time to go.Once you get past the high ceilings, the fancy tables, the great service and the fancy decor on the plates.....the actual experience of the food, the value and the quality really missed the spot with me. I just felt robbed somehow....the extra charge for everything, the poor quality eggs and the weak coffee you could feed an infant. Our server SILVIA was wonderful though. Professional, approachable, friendly and very attentive. She's the reason it's not going to be a 1star, but a 2star for Palate Kitchen today.
