I decided to make this comment so that the owner of this restaurant takes action and saves this place. Today was nice sunny day all of restaurants and bars at english Bay was crowded and fully booked, we went to PAPI’S because it was the only empty restaurant , this is a great restaurant with good food overlooking the sea beautiful view yes I’ve been there a few times in the EveningSo today was 2:30pm Upon ordering a table, there were several empty tables inside and outside. The attendant a girl told usthat all the tables were reserved but we could come back at 3pm , my husband found strange and asked her how could this will be available at 3pm if at that time it was 2:30pm and the restaurant was empty??? she then gave us a table outside after we pushing her , I would say to the owner of this restaurant that these 3 employees who were there today will soon close this restaurant , we saw several customers arrive and this girl say that was Fully book , just because they not want to work, I agree that 3 employees is not enough to manager a lot customer but couldn’t loose clients like I saw today , the owner needs put his eye on his business or will soon close the doors because of this team of employees .by the way the second patio was closed even with a beautiful sunny day , check the photos . I really sorry for the owner .

A charming surprise with an air of sophistication and style all wrapped up in my order of battered haddock. A definite choice if you want to get away from the racquet in those other places!! We will definitely be back!

Papi's Seafood and Oyster Bar has delicious food and a stellar location. The food was a 4.5 and the view/atmosphere was a 5.We ordered so many things off the menu. Let's start with the oysters. They had about 6 oysters on rotation, 3 from West Coast and 3 from East Coast. The Sunseekers are probably my favorite for the night.The prawns in garlic butter sauce was heavenly with huge prawns cooked perfectly. We couldn't stop mopping up the sauce with our bread.The white wine mussel fries were delicious and we finished almost every single one of them. There was only 1 mussel that didn't open properly so we left it.The kale salad was probably the best kale salad I've had without having too much or little dressing. The perfect amount of cheese and a few cherry tomatoes.The clams with Asian cooking wine and butter was my least favorite item. It was fine, but it wasn't memorable.Everything tasted really fresh as well as the service being excellent.The Caesar drink came with a raw oyster. Enjoyable drink that went with everything we ate, but a little light on the alcohol.The view is the last thing I wanted to mention, which is my favorite close to English Bay. Whether you're sitting outside in the summer or inside by the window during winter, it's always gorgeous.
Barret and all the staff were wonderful. He made fantastic suggestions and the food was delicious. Not sure why the negative reviews of this place they had a great offerings and the menu I suspect is seasonal as well. We look forward to our return and the amazing

What a great first meal for our visit in Raincouver. They had a lovely menu set up for the Dine Out Vancouver Festival and we jumped in, but added some kyushi oysters to start. And, the rose negroni was a perfect. Service was attentive and knowledgeable when asked details of the ingredients. My only question is why is this place not packed with patrons??? Vancouver, you have a gem here in a beautiful location. I hope you do not lose it because it is so good and deserves your attention.

Small gem in Westend. Not that crazy busy, but great experience you get to explore. Staff are very friendly. Pretty hygienic kitchen, you can actually see from outside how in clean environment your food is prepared.
