Usually this is a great place for poutine, but I just ordered pulled pork on poutine.. I got chunky pork on semi cooked fries

Excellent food, take-out is quick and the staff are polite and professional. I would recommend anything on the menu, it's all great prepared with fresh ingredients. I live above the bar in the Patricia Hotel, so I order from the bar when ever I can. Portions are big......so come with an empty stomach!

AMAZING FOOD! This calamari is probable THE best (deep fried) I’ve had. I’m pescatarian and I’ve had them all. Coworkers rave about the other menu items too. Burgers, sandwiches, salads…full menu.Full menu. Full bar.The staff are lovely. Don’t let the neighbourhood sway you. COME HERE!Live music, pool, Keno etc.say hi to Gail for me.

A cozy historical gem! Feels like a tavern in the day and into an eclectic evening live music or rendez vous pub with large paid parking lot and well lit entrance, wheelchair accessible!

Amazing place. Feels really off the beaten path and authentic, the live blues set had everybody dancing.

Good free jazz on Monday night. No cover charge and inexpensive drinks.

We are in Vancouver for the weekend and based on reviews here went to this bar. Upon arrival the sign on the door said only open until 7:00pm due to the labor shortage, we get it. Call before you go to see that they are operating. Be aware that this is a terrible part of town, we didn't know before being dropped by Uber but the area is overrun by street people, obvious, open drug usage. We could not get out of there fast enough.

Food is decent for the price and the waitress was good. But on top of the terrible location there was a burning smell for nearly 2 hours and nobody did anything to address it.

Had a group of us staying at the hotel upstairs on our way to a cruise. Excellent food and atmosphere, friendly staff and good music.

ok, so as i mentioned in my first part of the review, comments are limited here to 1500 words, and as that didnt cover all i had to say, i'm posting this 2nd part now! in the first part, we talked about the location etc in this part, i want to talk about everything else... Druggies...yes, agreed, there are druggies and homeless people around, but not In the hotel itself; people have been posting comments as if homeless were living in the hotel! in all the time i stayed there, and did my fair share of walking around all the neighbourhoods, yes, i did see shocking examples of people drugged out of their minds etc, but all you need to do is walk around or cross the street, is all. thats not difficult. i was never accosted by any of those people, save the ones asking for a few cents, and even when i said no, they had the courtesy to say thank you sir, have a nice day...not exactly threatening, is it! yes, the hotel is vintage, with wooden floors, olde worlde central heating radiators etc but it is unique....it has a lovely little peaceful library section in the foyer where you can have your coffee and read all day if you like, a larger area with good sofas and armchairs to relax in and people-watch if you like, and the food and beer in the pub section is excellent. the highlight of the place is it's convenience...you can walk to downtown Vancouver in about 20 minutes, with Gastown, great restaurants and coffee places, Chinatown being only 5 minutes walk away, too.
