Robba da Matti (Yaletown) is a charming Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Vancouver's trendy Yaletown district. This family-owned gem offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both romantic dinners and gatherings with friends or family. The menu boasts a wide array of authentic Italian dishes, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Standouts include their handcrafted pastas, which are made in-house daily, and their delicious, wood-fired pizzas. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, featuring a selection of Italian wines that perfectly complement the food.

Amazing service, the woman helping us was definitely ItalianBurrata with olives and tomatoes was so delicious - olives weren’t too pungent and capers added a very subtle saltiness / brine flavor without overpowering. Husband doesn’t like capers and I don’t like olives usually but it was impeccablePappardelle roche roche was so delicious and very comforting. Sauce is not viscous and noodles are chewy and just a hair under al dente, perfect for us. Meats just fell apart with tenderness and zero gaminess.Beef ravioli absolutely stole the show. Mushrooms were so tender, flavorful, and bursting with amazing earthiness. We’re lucky we could sneak in relatively early as a table for two because this place was packed and were turning people away. We also saw the table next to us order tiramisu, and it looked heavenly.Eat here!!!

Delicious italian food with decent variety of dishes in the menu. My go-to is the Pasta al Pesto with Burrata. It never disappoints! It’s usually busy, so I highly recommend to make a reservation in advance.

Booked here for dinner, 20 days in advance.Confirmee the reservation. The night before we were to dine, the restaurant suddenly changes the reservation time, and we recieve an email asking us to confirn. The new time was not acceptable based on our schedule.I chatted the restaurant and no response. Not knowing if they would honour our original reservation I told them to cancel it. They finally canceled it 4 hours before it was supposed to occur. If this is how they run their front of house and treat people that make an effort to make reservations, i think we dodged a bullet as I can only imagine how bad everthing else would be.Goid news is there are plenty of other ootions in Yaletown that are properly operated.

I ordered the Pappardelle “Roche Roche”. The sausage was still in its casing and the other chunks of meat looked like leftovers they found in the fridge. The sauce was nice but nothing special. Our server was nice and helpful but another server was smoking outside of the patio so the smell kind of ruined our meal.

Went for dine out 2024 - food was great! Appetizers were the best - dessert was normal. Restaurant a bit small and cramped.

Went to Robba di Matti for dine-out and both the service and atmosphere were excellent but the food was average. Not somewhere I would rave about.

My biggest gripe has to be the price, the pasta tastes solid and service was really good but $45 for a plate with tip is a bit much for an ok tasting pasta

Food was really good, we loved the $150 deal. It is super worth it since you will have a great meal and be buzzed by the end of it. There was so much food that we couldn’t even finish our desserts. We asked them to pack it so we could have it for breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend this place :)

Everything was wonderful. I'm addition to the fantastic food, I tried a very delicious and satisfying non-alcoholic drink with ginger beer and peach.

My family and I were deeply disappointed with our meal. We used to come to this restaurant often but recently, the quality of the pasta has been getting worse. Today, the rigatoni and spaghetti were cooked way too soft and the sauces seemed to be very watered down. This applied to all three pastas we ordered (the Anatra, Al Pesto, and Allo Scogliio). None of us were able to finish our plates, as the pasta just did not taste good. It was very bland and the consistency was way off. The poached pear salad was the only thing we could finish. Overall, it was below our expectations and not worth the price.
