We started our trip to Vancouver at East Van. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon so the place was relatively empty as I imagine most people were working. They offer a small menu of food items here, so we got a few snacks to pair with a flight of beers. The beers were all good, made especially better by the feeling of being on vacation. Overall, very chill spot to grab a brew in the afternoon.

Went to their food truck in Pitt Meadows in the middle of the day. They were out of lobster which is ridiculous for a lobster roll truck.Tried their extremely overpriced ($28) seafood roll. It tasted like the imitation seafood mix you can buy at Thriftys for $1.99/100g. Not fresh and highly mediocre. The guy working there didn't even know what kind of fish was in the seafood mix.

I ordered through Uber Eats. The delivery was fast as I watch the app tracking. Unfortunately, when the food arrived (2x lobster Mac n cheese both with lobster “bisque” side). My first disappointment was how small the $27 portion was. I was hoping it would be abundant, nice and cheesy, and packed with lobster but as I looked closer I noticed that there was no actual sauce but a bunch of macaroni with little congealed cheese bumps and a meager amount of lobster looking bits (not lobster) scattered underneath the pasta. When I took a bite the dish was barely luke warm and flavourless. My only thought at this point was “how can a chef allow this product to leave their kitchen”?.. then, I tried the bisque… a proper bisque should be smooth, creamy and strained. Mine was chunky, gritty and inedible. I suggest adding some corn and potatoes and calling it a chowder because that was not a bisque. In the end I poured the “bisque” over the mac so that there would be some wetness (sauce) and a hint of flavour to it. Twas still disappointed. In the end, the food ordered was so terrible that I couldn’t eat it, wasted $70+ and had to order again from somewhere elseI do not recommend going to/ordering from this establishment.

Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Ashton at the dog park, and decided to find this place. I grew up in Steveston but had never been here! Anyway, turns out it's right across from the Waves side parking , and is now inside 5 Roads Brewing, next to Yokohama. TLDR: Worth trying!Service: 4.5/5 food came out quick! Staff were a little stiff but warmed up when I was extra chatty.Food: 4.5/5 got the lobster roll and the lobster grilled cheese. Real, fresh lobster was delish and served hot! Would love a little more moisture (like a light sauce) as this type of food always starts out juicy but can dry quickly :) if you're looking for a cozy vibe for smaller parties when dining in. because it honestly brightened my day to stop by and try a lil lobster! Thank you!

After being recommended to Salty's a couple of times, my partner and I decided to make the trek out to the nearest location (in PoCo) and were very excited about our dinner choice! And you know what...I was not nearly as impressed as I had hoped I'd be. The food was okay, the portions were small, and the price for it all was not worth it. I acknowledge that seafood doesn't come cheap, but I do not feel like I got my money's worth. I was shocked by the $38 (+ tax) price tag on the 1/2lb lobster roll, and although that's what I really wanted, I couldn't justify it so I opted for the $18 Salty's Roll which was a 1/4lb mix of lobster and fish. I was so disappointed when I opened my box and saw half a fancy hot dog bun filled with seafood, and some potato chips. It tasted fine, but I was at least hoping to be blown away by the flavour, if not the quantity. But alas...our bill came to $58 for a piddly roll, a grilled cheese sandwich with a bit of lobster, 2 small bowls of lobster bisque (which was also just okay) and potato chips. I can think of so many better places to spend $60 on food that wouldn't leave me wanting for more!

Lobster rolls are absolutely delicious. We live in Victoria and head over to Vancouver every few months mainly to eat the delicious rolls. As an East Coaster, I highly recommend and they remind me of home!

We bought the soup from Uber Eats and the soup was so cold, we had to put it in the microwave to be able to eat it ?

You need to eat the lobster sandwich right away. We didn't and ended up with a soggy mess.

I tried both the lobster roll and the Saltys roll and lobster bisque. The garlic aioli is a must for added flavour on the rolls pretty plain taste if not added. The lobster roll was $28 rather over priced for the 1/4 lb. It was just okay. But the Saltys roll $18 1/4 lb tasted wayyy better and it say lobster shrimp and fish but it actually lobster shrimp and crab. I love lobster but the Saltys roll tasted better and was $10 less. These items were more snack size. I would go for the 1/2 lb rolls if you wanted more of a lunch. Plain ripple chips served with it. Now the lobster bisque is HUGE and excellent but I would remove the dill on top as took away from the flavour. Bisque is only $8 if ordered with a roll and $13 if not. Well worth the price. Service was okay if you want better service dont sit upstairs, I saw tables below were well served. Its a big hike up the stairs. All in all a nice little place to try out.

I ordered thru Uber eats for pick up because I was in the area. Yes I did look at the reviews first, but I still chose to eat there because most of the bad reviews seemed to be about the lobster roll and that is not what I wanted to order. The mac & cheese and the bisque are phenomenal.!!!! I will definitely come back.

Grabbed a roll and the bisque from Port Moody, Hymo provided great conversation while we wait given we were the only patrons.Thought the roll was great and the bisque was a great way to warm up on a cold eve.

The soup tastes more like pumpkin soup. The roll has very little lobster and the rest looks like fake crab meat.Way overpriced.

Bisque soup is delicious but was served warm not hot! Roll completely dry it would have been nice to have a dipping or sauce with. Adding when I say delicious means the taste apart from hot or warm. Owner perhaps you should coach your team to know the right temperature to serve soup what wld it be! And yes we are tough crown nowadays, & ur not cheap at all. I will give your restaurant a second stop and will judge accordingly this time live, how about that I hope your team will make it right and I will ensure to be generous with my star review ;)
