Went for the all you can eat sushi lunch and will 100% be going back. The food was extremely high quality, the fee was only $28 per person, and the ladies there were lovely to us, and attentive of our needs.

I've been here twice and definitely will go back again. Friendly staff, good service, fresh and tasty food. All they can do to make it a better place is upgrading their ventilation system.Highly recommended ?

Sashimis are their best food.I was hoping for the oyster motoyaki , but it’s only served during dinner.

Limited gluten free and vegetarian options. I was happy to find something on the a la crate menu that I was able to eat so that I could participate in dinner with my friends. They have gluten free tamari.Vegetarian options: Very limited in the all you can eat menu. A few on the a la crate menu. Most people definitely come here to eat meat.Dietary restrictions: There was gluten free tamari. I was not confident the meal I ordered was free of cross contamination. I don’t think the all you can eat option would work gluten free, unless you primarily wanted to eat sashimi.

The place had a loving environment. Being able to go to an all you can eat with sushi and bbq is a great place to relax with a bunch of friends. The food didn't take long to arrive with their fast service.

The food is fresh. I tried it myself and it's not as the reviews say (rubbish). The price may not be the cheapest among all the buffet restaurants in Vancouver, but it definitely has the most selection.

Last time I visited here was 10 years ago, it was absolutely garbage. Today, i revisited Shabusen again, still garbage. No service at all and they were rushing customers to finish everything that left over. Definitely NOT recommended. Go somewhere else, there are much better all you can eat sushi/sashimi with BBQ in town.

The seat is so uncomfortable. I feel like I always have to chase customers away. The teriyaki chicken is the most delicious thing. The fish is average, and the quality of the meat is really hard to describe. After eating it once, I don’t want to go back again.
