They forgot my order and were chatting among themselves. And when I asked about my order they couldn't find out what it was. I think employees should be more careful. I don't think I will come

Cute place, unfortunately the bagel was terrible. The bagel was cold and stale, the meat was wet and slightly sour, I couldn’t help but gag slightly at the first bite. Maybe the pastries are better!

The food at Simit lives up to the hype in the comments. I went in for just a pastry but left with two Borek and an order of Manti which were like little clouds of heaven. The selection of pastries is extensive and the bagel options fit any taste you might have. I’ve never craved Turkish food before but I will now after trying the Borek— the perfect savoury pastry to suit a need. I can’t believe I didn’t realize I had baklava so available to me nearby. If, like me you’ve walked past this place lots, do yourself a favour and stop for a minute the next time you walk by. There’s always people in here and it’s deserved.Vegetarian options: Many of the pastries specifically are vegan and will indicate it next to the pastry.

One of the best slices of cheesecake I’ve ever had. Light, fluffy, great flavor and not super heavy or overwhelming. The Turkish Tea was steeped too long so it was a little bitter but it doesn’t matter because I came for the cheesecake, which did not disappoint. I probably could’ve eaten three more slices, but summer is around the corner so I had to refrain. If you take anything away from this review, let it be to order the cheesecake.

Had breakfast with my husband, our order was a bit late but the way we were treated and the apology tells me that they do care about their business and the delay was an anomaly. The food was great , the place is quite cozy.A great little place.

good turkish food and bakery. Expensive for a casual dining place, but they nickle and dime you on small things like $5 for couple slices of sausage or $3 for a dollop of jam.

Our family loves this place - everything is very fresh, transporting us to beautiful Turkey. The breakfast here is very rich , from their pastries to eggs to traditional Turkish tea. We're thrilled that a place like this has opened in Vancouver, allowing people to learn and explore different cultures.
