I love this restaurant! the decor and creative food and drinks are worth every cent! I'll miss them deeply when they close, but I hope to see them again someday.

Having never been to a "**** culture"-themed or gaming bar before I had no idea where to set my expectations for this place, but I heard very good things and my friends really wanted to go, so I allowed myself to be taken along and I'm super glad I gave it a try! Even without the theme I would've given 5 stars, and the decoration and vibe were the cherry on top. I went with a group of 5 on a Saturday night, and we didn't have a reservation, but called an hour before we planned to arrive to get on the waitlist and they had a table for us just in time. In general the service was really pleasant and attentive. Note that they have a 2 hour limit on tables, so if you plan to take advantage of any of the games they have you'll probably want to get started right away. We had been hoping to play after we ate, but then realized we didn't have a ton of time left so just decided to call an early night. I had the Goblet of Fire cocktail to start and was totally blown away. The cocktail featured white chocolate liquor, fireball, and cranberry juice (the cranberry was mild enough that it just added a little bit of depth without too much tartness) with a small chocolate bowl filled with absinthe floating on top. Very stunning to look at, but also easily one of the most delicious cocktails I've had. The table also did a round of D20 cocktails which was fun. I ended up with #2 (banana liqueur and Crown Royal) and liked it even though I'm not too big on banana flavour. Was a little disappointed I didn't end up with something more exciting, but that's just part of the game. For my meal I had Might Frieza's Farro Bowl of Hunger Destruction! I like that their food menu has something for everyone, from the healthier Dragon Bowl-z like I got to burgers (if I go back I'll be very tempted to try the Dungeon Burger). My bowl had beets, feta, spinach, farro, and pumpkin seeds. The presentation with the smashed beets was again very nice, and everything was fresh and tasty. In addition to being visually interesting, I don't think I've ever had a beet salad with smashed/finely minced beets like they were in this and I thought it was a really enjoyable texture. Everything in general is a little pricey, but for the Goblet of Fire I thought the $12 was appropriate for what it was. With the other drinks that people at my table I got, I noticed that the price of the cocktail didn't always reflect the complexity - simpler drinks were priced basically the same as the more elaborate ones. The D20 random shots are $7 a piece which is steep for 1 oz of liquor, but I justify that as the fee for the gimmick which is okay with me since I just did one, but I wouldn't want to pay for a bunch of these (that's probably not a bad thing though). The food prices were also on the high side but not outrageous.

Great atmosphere and great food! Fun drinks and an awesome place to go with friends. It's on the pricey side of things but that's to be expected at a themed bar! If you like to drink and love to test fate make sure you roll for a random shot- if you get a critical hit you get to keep the glass!

We came for a few drinks before going out for dinner. The smoking shots were cool and the service was friendly.

I bought tickets to a Halloween brunch for today. The receipt said doors at 12 noon and when we arrived at 12:220 we were told our table was given away as we weren't there before noon. They said we will not be refunded our ticket fee. There was NO indication on the receipt (the only confirmation sent) that we needed to be there by a certain time. A huge line of people behind us were waiting to be told the same thing. Not cool! An obvious cash grab by this place that I will never visit again. They need to apologize and refund ALL the people that they ripped off today.

Our go to. The menu is very welcoming and the kitchen staff are accommodating for all diets and restrictions. The menu is fun and it's always fun to make your own burger through dice rolling. If you're in for an adventurous night, order one of their shareable drinks and watch it come out. A must go for all nerds

We waited an uncomfortably long time to be acknowledged. The place wasn't visibly busy but the staff person at the front barely said anything to us and just let us wait while they interacted with someone who came after us looking for a food order. I had been a long time patron of the commercial drive location and was looking forward to trying the only remaining location. The other staff were actually quite good and attentive but that feeling of being disregarded and unwelcome than shuffled to a seat like we were a great encumbrance on this staff member who then reminded we could only be there for 2 hours really soured an experience I was looking forward to.I really regret spending the money we did while we were there. I won't be returning.

Unique place to have a drink or two with friends while enjoying board games. Food and drinks were great but service was lacking at times and a couple reminders were needed for a server for us to get our drinks. Understandable due to how busy it can get during weekends. Bear in mind, games that require an investment in time (ie. Monopoly) are not available currently due to COVID but would highly recommend this location!

I walk past here a lot and I finally got to try it the other night but I wasn’t very impressed unfortunately. The decor and atmosphere is pretty cool but their food was disappointing and their service was okay.Staff was polite, but a little absent minded it seemed. It was a weird experience getting sat and I feel like they weren’t paying much attention to open tables etc.Waiter was patient and polite with us. Came back to take our order for Happy Hour! So that was nice but we waited a long time for our food (30-40 mins for food after we ordered). My fiancé has ordered takeout from here too and he also found the wait for food a little long. The dungeon burger was really fun to create with your friends. The trading card that came with it was neat too! I didn’t think my dungeon “burger” was that impressive and the portions seemed small. The beer I ordered (golden snitch) wasn’t that great as well and seemed to have been poured poorly.Overall the food was disappointing and not what we expected.A cool place to hang out, play games and have snacks but I would not come here for the food.
