So ordered a 10 oz ribeye steak and had a Honey Brown beer, when I received the beer it had definitely gone bad, was flat and sour, so they brought another which was the same. I ordered a different beer this time and I had a lady come up to me and said I could not order alcohol because I identified the two previous beers as bad, which you could clearly see they were flat and tasted sour. I stated I hat they were not good and she could see them as well taste them herself! She asked me if I understood that they would not serve me any alcohol, so I said what I really understood is that I needed to take my business elsewhere! What terrible customer service!! ?

This is an older family restaurant but the pizza is great (Regina Style). As someone from Saskatchewan, it's hard to find Regina style pizza in Vancouver- it's a lot of thin crust or fire baked.Thanks for a taste of home!

I dined at Sunrise with a friend with Celiac. He asked if the steak would be ok for someone with Celiac. The server checked with the kitchen and came back and said, "yes it will be ok". And it was. ? so often restaurants claim to be able to cook Celiac safe foods, but dont - leaving him extremely sick. Sunrise cooked a delicious Celiac safe steak. The rest of us enjoyed our pizza...

The food and decor are unpretentious and I love that this place still exists after so many years and so many chi chi places popping up. No loud music, no big screens, no overpriced trendy dishes. Perfect for a leisurely catch up over satisfying small town grub that everyone enjoys once in a while. An old school, commercial drive staple.I want to add that the service my party of 8 received from the young, blind male waiter was outstanding! We we’re all very impressed.Don’t ever change sunrise!!

I order quite a bit from these guys and usually the food is good but today I ordered a pizza and it was badly burned after giving the delivery driver a 13.00 tip ? also it's the 2nd pizza where the topping completely comes off the dough ? so you end up with the top and bottom of the pizza on your plate, not great much improvement is needed for me to order another pizza from these guys
