Nothing to write home about. Sticky table, long wait for the food. Teriyaki lukewarm, same for the tempura. No table check, no offer to top up the tea. One positive: it's better than the 2 sushi places south of them.

They did not allow myself and my son to sit in the restaurant they proceeded to say there was a birthday event but they kept sitting everyone else that walked in but myself and my son. When I asked for the 3rd time the waitress put me and my son on a single table where they keep the take out containers. Even though there was a table for 4. They did not want us to sit at the table they wanted us to the side. I don’t know if it’s because myself and my son had our braids in and he’s using an every child matters shirt. They did sit everyone else but us until the 3rd time I asked.

I unfortunately don’t know if the food is good or not. My friend and I went in to grab some dinner around 6pm on a Wednesday. About half the tables had people at them and two had reservation signs. There were a few open tables as well as some stool seating by the window that was open. An older Asian lady who worked there came up to us and said they were full and walked away. We waited a couple minutes for her to come back so we could ask how long the wait would be to which she looked at me annoyed and said “I don’t know” and walked away again.Obviously we weren’t wanted. I thought this was beyond rude and wild behaviour. Ive worked in the restaurant industry and can always give people a ballpark idea of how long a wait will be based on how long the oldest patrons have been there and whether they’ve got their meals yet. We were very polite to her and have no idea why we were treated this way. We went to LOKU down the street and had an amazing experience. Highly recommend LOKU.If this lady is rude to you, don’t worry, I read other reviews and apparently she’s rude to a lot of people.

Received my uber eats order with the bag open not sealed whatsoever since when is it okay to send ubereats this unacceptable ? who knows if the driver touched my food or not very poor

This place make you feel like you’re in a fancy restaurant for a quarter of the price. Now was the food the most amazing sushi I’ve ever had? No, but they probably blew 95% of the other sushi restaurant this city out of the water! The plating was delightful and the staff were extremely hard working. This is one of the restaurants where you actually WANT to tip your waiter!Also this is my honest opinion so I’m going to grade certain aspects of my dinner below.Quality of food: 9/10Taste of food: 8/10Plating: 10/10Fast service: 9/10Hard workers: 10/10

A favorite date sushi spot for my girlfriend and I! Amazing service and atmosphere! The owners do a fantastic job. Food quality rivals the top sushi restaurants in the city.The ONLY suggestion I could possibly find is they are regularly sold out of their spring rolls. If they were available on a more consistent basis , this would be top sushi restaurant in Vancouver!
Love going there, prices are cheap, and portion sizes are great (especially for giant rolls) service can be a little slow, but I think it's just a family run restaurant so I completely understand, the food is worth the

A sushi spot I make sure I go to if I'm craving sushi. The quality of sushi and the presentation even are clean. The ingredients used taste very fresh and the portions are perfect. The service was also very good. Definitely worth checking out, and another bonus is it's not that pricey compared to other sushi spots.

I’ve been going here for such a long time and this sushi spot has been a staple for me. I always get the giant spicy dynamite roll and palm beach roll. Prices are very reasonable for the portions provided.
