The lemon grass chicken burrito is great. It is my favorite burrito. My only complaint is it's very loud.

I used to go here because I would always be shocked at the size of the burrito as it used to be huge and worthy of the price. But now the burrito is almost half the size of what it used to be literally a year ago. Another restaurant defeated by inflation?

How on earth are burritos no longer on the dinner menu!? No burritos after 3pm, so you can't even get one along with your happy hour bites and drinks. I used to love this location but it has gone downhill recently, and their new menu just ain't doing them any favours. I had the carnitas gringas today and they were so insanely salty, and then I had an extremely unpleasant bathroom experience less than an hour afterwards.I'm giving 2 stars only because their guacamole is still phenomenal, but their service is lacking, and I was so disappointed with the food today and the lack of burritos on their menu.Also... How on earth are burritos NOT a dinner item!? Tacos are lunch, burritos are dinner, no? Won't be returning to this location. Kitsilano hasn't let me down yet so I'll keep going there instead.

Went yesterday for happy hour action with the gift card I received from their Hastings location (had a bad takeout experience there and wanted to try out another location). Can say that the sit-in service is equally as bad. We ordered beers for HH and it took 10 minutes to be brought over because our server was chatting to her friend instead of working. No side plates or napkins for our chips and dip platter until we asked. We also asked why burritos weren’t served during dinner and she just said that they “dont do that” and she “wouldn’t be offended if we left…” so instead we ordered 2 gringas each off their HH menu and we only got 1 each with no crema. We asked our server to please send along the 2 other gringas and informed her there was no crema. She brought the 2 out with a large ramekin of crema and said “this should be enough for you”. We asked for Valentina’s and she seemingly forgot so we asked another server and she also forgot until we didn’t wait any longer and finished our food.Just super disappointed with this company at this point - there are much better Mexican restaurants in the city to go and support.

Very good food, full of flavor. Talked to a friend who spends a lot of time in Mexico, told me the food is authentic Mexican. So there you go.

My partner and I came for dinner here and for the most part we enjoyed ourselves. I've been to the other branches but it was my first time coming to this branch and my partner hadn't been to Tacofino before. The atmosphere is good but loud so it's hard to talk and it's hard to think. In terms of food, yes the nachos and the tacos were yummy. It wasn't possible to order burritos, these can be ordered for take away or during lunch. There is one vegan taco option and one vegetarian taco option. I ordered one of each but it would be nice to have a few more options for vegetarians and/or vegans.Vegetarian options: One vegetarian taco option

I love tacofino, and thought upon walking in this would be a good place for a burrito... However this location doesn't serve burritos, which is disappointing. That said, the three tacos I did get (steak, Al pastor, fish), all were 10/10 delicious. The seating is really what loses the star because I'm of the firm opinion all high top tables where my feet can't touch the ground should be outlawed.

I have lived in Texas and California and the one thing I miss most since moving to BC is GOOD mexican food. Not only is this place the best Mexican fusion I maybe have ever had, but the vegan and vegetarian options are AMAZING! Anytime I am within 10 km of this place I am getting takeout for sure.Great ambiance also and easy in and out to major roadways.Vegetarian options: There is a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The tempura squash Taco is perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten in my life (get it with a corn tortilla and use the lime!)
