Unfortunately they did not use tikka chicken, seemed just chicken breasts simmered in the sauce. Chicken was dry and not as flavourful as with tikka.- Saag paneer: tasty like real saag (and not spinach as some do), we enjoyed that it wasn’t mixed with a ton of cream- Butter chicken: not a usual item for us but they had a special price on it. Huge disappointment. Butter sauce was decent. But there was almost no chicken and the pieces were tiny 1-2cm and so so so dry.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

The appearance of the restaurant is unremarkable, even a little ordinary, but friends who came here said it was delicious, so the three of us came here to try it. My friend had eaten a vegetarian curry before, it was not spicy, because he misunderstood that it was eggs, and later asked if it was cheese. So after a round of communication, he ordered the first dish, which was a vegetarian white curry. , basically not spicy, but the taste is really refreshing and very delicious!For the second dish, we ordered a rather special mango chicken. It was not like ordinary Indian curry. It didn’t taste like mango, but it was slightly sour and not too sweet, so it was very delicious! The most surprising thing is that the Indian pancakes served with each dish are very large. Of course, you can also ask for white rice without the pancakes, but this pancake is very good for serving curry, and generally the pancakes in Indian restaurants are small. We had a great time eating this time. The three of us were very full and I ate all the last pancakes!The biggest problem here is that the air extraction is not enough, the oil fume is so big that we choked and had to leave, and our coats smelled like oil smoke when we got home. However, the food is really delicious. The average price for the three of us including tips is only $14, which is a good deal!

I have been ordering from Tandoori Palace for years now. This is definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Vancouver. Their Chicken Tikka Masala doesn’t have any competition! The naan that comes with the orders is enormous!
