Great food and great service. They give generous portions of noodles and meat and the broth is really flavourful. I recommend getting the Tat Chan combo special. I’ve already gone here twice in a span of two weeks. That’s how good it is.

Definitely worth the hype. The broth is simply amazing, so flavourful but light enough that it doesn’t coat your entire mouth with grease. I’ve already started craving it on the drive home that I wished I had ordered another bowl or two for takeout. The meat is also well seasoned and tender. I ordered the combo so I can enjoy both the belly and the pork soft bone, but I strongly recommend the port soft bone (second item on menu, or combo). I didn’t even know it was meant to be soft bone until I looked at the menu again later. The meat simply melted in my mouth, and with a hint of sweetness, it’s truly heavenly. Not that the pork belly isn’t great by itself already, but the pork soft bone simply blew it out of the water. It doesn’t have crunchy consistency like you’d expect; if there’s a counterpart to wagyu beef, then this is it.Noodles is interesting, definitely not what I was expecting. I knew that it wasn’t the standard buckwheat soba, but it’s more like a cross between ramen and udon. It’s very al dente and absorbs the broth very well. It’s definitely different from what I’m used to, but in a good way.Yes, the seating is outside, and can be a little chilly if you go on a rainy day. But I feel like this actually adds to the experience and feels very authentic, as it’s very similar to the ramen carts you see in Japan. And despite there’s only one person (the owner?) manning the entire place today, he handled everything smoothly and professionally (from placing orders for dine in and take out, making the orders, and taking payment), and even made an effort to chat with everyone who was there so you don’t feel left out.Credit cards accepted for payment as well. 10/10 experience for sure, and will visit again in the near future.

For normal restaurant-level pricing, I found the noodles to be OK, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Bowls and cutlery were disposable, noodles cooled quickly since it's outdoor.

Finally got to try this! The Okinawa soba noodles has a very unique taste and the broth is just so perfect. The meat is soooo tender, sweet, and so yummy! The experience of having it in this place feels like I’m in Japan. Thank you! I’m definitely coming back.

Steaming hot bowl of noodles, flavorful chicken broth with the depth of fishy bonito flavor. Pork belly and pork soft bones marinated and cooked tenderly. Really good noodles!

Despite the looks, the noodles were arguably the tastiest noodles I've ever eaten. The meat and pork belly literally dissolved in my

The wait can be long as its pretty much a 1 man show, but holy, the soup was so good and the noodles were perfectly cooked. On a cold rainy night, the combo with 2 different kinds of meat and chewy noodles inside a hot bowl soup hit the spot. The wait was not pleasant but worth it. We waited 30 mins in the rain to get takeout. Soup had so much depth and umami flavour. The meat was soft and was cooked to perfection. Wish this food cart was a full scale restaurant to serve more people so that more people can enjoy just how good a bowl of noodles can be.My Japanese friend said he hasn't tasted anything this good since Japan.

I read through the negative reviews and hesitated to go, but I’m glad that I chose to go eventually. It’s one of the best street dining experiences so far. It’s nice vibe - quiet, sunny, and yellow leaves around. Food was tasty - freshly made ramen with tender pork belly. I’ve visited many ramen places, and usually the soup was too salty. This one was light and I could have all. The pork aside was a nice add-on too. Some people may complain it’s sweet, but I love how it was braised.Overall, it’s such a pleasant experience. Pick a sunny day and enjoy your bowl of ramen!

Second visit the noodle is still very good for cold winter day. The pork belly is still a bit too sweet for my liking but the broth with touch of spicy flavoured sauce is amazing. Hope they open a shop in vancouver soon!

I first learned about this Ramen stand through Instagram and had seen many similar stands during my time in Japan. These stands gained popularity due to their casual style, simple ordering process, quick service, and the delicious taste of their ramen, which sometimes rivals that of traditional restaurants. To my delight, a similar stand has now opened in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.I had heard that this particular stand often has long lines, but on the day I decided to visit, luck was on my side - there was no line-up, and I could secure a seat right away. However, after about 10-20 minutes, a line began to form. What we got - TaTchan combo Chicken broth, dried bonito, pork belly, pork softbone, green onion, black fungus, red ginger. The soup was excellent. The chicken broth boasted a smooth texture, and the salt level was just right. The pork belly and pork soft bone practically melted in your mouth, and the noodles had the perfect firmness. While I've never experienced Okinawa soba in Japan, I found it to be quite delightful. The service was good. The stand was situated outside of the Japanese school, and on the particular day I visited, it was very windy. Unfortunately, this made it uncomfortable to sit outside, and to add to the challenge, the tables were quite slippery. My ramen bowl slid off the table unexpectedly. I hope they consider making improvements to their tables or installing some kind of guard around the stand to prevent such incidents. Despite this mishap, overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Pork is really tender and tasty. Portion is a bit too small for my liking. I intentionally ate very slowly so I could enjoy every bite.
