I was unfortunately disappointed overall with my Mediterranean Vegetarian Sandwich especially when factoring in the $16 price. Perhaps the farm to table options are why they have such great reviews but those options are pretty expensive for a cafe, it's kind of like restaurant prices but small cafe setting which just wasn't for me.

Honestly the food was so incredible. The chef was humble and a genius and the woman who helped me at the front immediately felt like my mom, away from home. She knew everyone's name. Made me feel safe and warm and I can't wait to go back. SUCH an incredible experience.

When people say the sandwiches are the best they’ve ever had, the chicken schnitzel sandwich is literally the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. I am so happy to have found a high quality food place while we are down in Vancouver. Amazing!!

Such a lovely cafe in Kitsilano! Only 5-10min walk from and to Granville Island. The turkey and swiss cheese sandwich is so delicious, it also comes with a super fresh salad. I also had the apple pie/cake which is light and goes perfect with a coffee. Would love to go back next time I visit Vancouver.

Friendly and cozy neighbourhood store serving some decent food
The Daily special of Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, veggies & spatzle was perfect! The 3 portions of crispy breaded meat were thick & juicy. Topped off with homemade, low calorie, high protein quark cherry cheesecake for dessert, also baked perfectly & not overly sweet, which is our preference. Wonderful stay-cation with a gifted chef!

This place feels like going to your grandparents'. It's run with so much thought and care. They have daily specials - a hearty option and a light option - and it's different EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I've been coming here once or twice a week for a year. They have never repeated a special. I've never been to another cafe that does this.With most outside food, you feel quite heavy afterwards. But not here. It genuinely tastes and feels like home cooked food. No additives, just good ingredients and good cooking. This place deserves all the hype in the world.

Amazing place! The service was amazing and the food equally so. Chef Wolfgang makes a rotating weekly menu that is fresh, local and delicious. He also previously worked in Michelin star restaurants! Definitely a hidden gem, please check out if you're in the area!

Carrot ginger soup was DIVINE! I could’ve licked the bowl. The bread was delicious too, and the store owners were lovely people. My only wish is for the Mediterranean vegetarian sandwich to have an optional protein . Some chickpeas or even halloumi would’ve made it a lot more hearty! I found myself hungry for more. But their homemade hummus was delicious and the veggies were all fresh and delicious too. Overall yummy and healthy place! I will be trying something else soon :)
