I have really enjoyed this location in the past with my family but I was so surprised how incredibly snuffed I was by the staff tonight. I was bragging to my girlfriend how much I really liked this location and the views. Upon arriving and it being slow at 8:30 pm on a Friday, we were both passed by five different staff members and not one greeted us even after waiting a long while. I have to say I have never felt so snubbed especially when they made eye contact and just walked away. Overall a very embarrassing, we ended up leaving after a host walked by again. I truly love the brand but this is my first bad experience with the restaurant.

Lovely place. Unfortunately, my prime rib that was ordered medium rare came almost blue rare. It took so long to come that I didn't want to send it back for fear of another long wait. The server was attentive.

Carol did a fabulous job, she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and was good portion sizing. The tuna tartare was ?, flavorsome and perfect. The lobster tail was equally as good. The steak again I couldn't fault.

We normally love The Keg, but our experience last night wasn’t the best. Ryan, our server was good but the meal itself, wasn’t up to Keg standards in our eyes.The appys were fine but the wedge salad had virtually no tomatoes or bacon! Our filet was very rare instead of medium rare- we usually share but it was too underdone for me. And.. there’s nothing like a Keg baked potato, they’re usually piping hot and always soft inside. Our butter couldn’t even melt the first one was so cool, they did bring us a second one that was slightly warmer but far from hot.Not the best experience and considering the $200+ price tag pre tip- somewhat of a disappointing experience. Not sure we’ll be back to the Alberni location.

We were in town for a girls trip and we had the best service from Matthew!! We had a child with us who was celebrating a big cheer win. Matthew knew how to make her feel extra special and celebrating that win with her! We had an allergy at the table and Matthew was careful, informative and reassuring to ensure there were no issues with the allergy.

The reason for this is Josselyn. Definitely the best server at The Keg Windermere. Makes the lounge the best. Most likely our favourite server in Edmonton. She definitely deserves recognition for being fantastic.
Since I invited four of my friends, and wanted to have a good time with them, but the server was so busy , that I had to look for him all the time, to order anything my guests wanted, this was a bit disappointing for me as a host.

We really like this Keg. It’s the second time we have visited this particular location. The food is always excellent and the service stellar. We had a lovely meal with great cocktails in a warm welcoming environment. Not too loud not too dark just right. Our thanks as well to Brendan our server for great service which added to our dining experience. Don’t miss out on the Billy Miner Pie. A definite favorite dessert.
