Just had a bad experience. You can tell these guys are not fully capable of the catering services.Rush rush rush, every one seemed stressed out. Food was not prepared in house but rather already prepared foods rearranged on their plates.

Was an attendee of a wedding this weekend and all I can say is wow! The food was so delicious and the presentation of everything was very well done. There was a full course dinner served and everything tasted great (The baby potatoes are to die for). Even with a large amount of guests, service did not feel compromised as Austin checked on us throughout the meal and made sure we did not run out of wine. Overall it felt like a very luxurious dining experience for an event.

Great menu. We ordered from the half price bottle of wine option The lettuce wraps and truffle fries were great. The fries had a rich , great sauce. Very good service. Clean restroom . Twice I saw a host (Darshjl) help customers with mobility issues. He was as calm and kind as can be. Would love to go back and try something else from Earls menu

We had our wedding at the Loft and we were super impressed! We got a lot of compliments about the food and the venue in general (the layout is great and lots of room for folks to sit and chat it they don't want to dance). The event manager, Victoria, was super helpful and easy to work with - I had so many questions and she always answered quickly and professionally. The on site day of person, Alyssa, was extremely helpful during the day of the event - everything ran super smoothly! The bar staff and wait staff were also awesome. Honestly I was so happy we were able to just sit back and let Earls take care of almsot everything - it was much easier than coordinating individual vendors, especially as someone who did thr DIY route and did not hire a wedding planner. If you're planning to host an event here - don't hesitate! We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding here!Dietary restrictions: Accommodated all our guests dietary restrictions with ease!

We got married here in October 2023 and it was amazing!First of all, Victoria was such a pleasure to work with. She responded within 24 business hours to any questions we had, and she was very helpful in all her responses.On the wedding day itself, the service team was friendly, efficient, and professional. All the servers were on top of it and always served with a smile. They had a good amount of staff so the food came on time. Food was simple yet tasty. GREAT portions.Venue was cozy and inviting. The only downside is parking is limited and expensive for guests, but you can work your way around it. The dance floor area at the Loft was ample enough for us to dance (we had 100+ people). The booth provided a space for people to hang out.Overall, as a couple who plans events on a continual basis, we would HIGHLY recommend the Loft for a beautiful wedding venue.

Wow, you guys. This was my first time at this Earl's, and I will never go back, even though I go to other Earl's regularly and I live literally one block from this one. What a horrible experience. All the staff are so busy swanning around like they're trying to figure out where the camera is that they can't be bothered to take people's orders or bring them their food or treat them like human beings. First off, all five of the water glasses at our table were filthy dirty. One had food in it, and the other four were covered in greasy fingerprints, and I mean you almost couldn't even see through them, they were so greasy. When I pointed that out, as the waiter was about to pour water into them, she looked at me like I had said something horrible and snatched them away from the table and eventually brought back some semi-clean ones, with no verbal acknowledgment that there had been a problem with the first batch. Next, she left us with our menus for a solid half hour. Not even kidding. My husband was timing, and he said it was 45 minutes, but I'll give the waiter the benefit of the doubt and say it was only half an hour. And it was not busy in there. I have 100% sympathy for wait staff when the place is full and they are slammed and racing around. But like I say, all the wait staff there are very languid and they kind of drift around looking off into the corners and doing nothing much, and meanwhile we're sitting there with hungry relatives and a hungry 3-year-old and time ticking down on our parking meters and we're being completely ignored. Next, my mother-in-law orders a quinoa salad and it comes with no quinoa in it. Instead of taking an interest and saying, "Whoops! The chef must have made a mistake," or "We must have put in the wrong order," she just leaves and comes back and flops down this little side dish of quinoa with no explanation for what happened. When I say, "So what happened there?", she says, "Oh, it's just supposed to be a light amount of quinoa." But it was described in the menu as a quinoa salad. So I think there should have been a bit more of an explanation as to why there was no quinoa in the dish that my mother-in-law received. Anyway, what a horrible atmosphere full of entitled, disinterested, snobbish, self-absorbed staff who act like if every action isn't going directly to social media it's not worth doing. I will seriously never go there again. I'll drive to the Richmond Earl's instead.

The loft at earls hosted my wedding this past Saturday and it could not of gone better! We got so many compliments on the food, the service, and the space! We are so happy we celebrated our wedding here and would recommend! Victoria was such a pleasure to work with, she always had quick and detailed response to my many emails. She was always there to help and made the wedding planning experience so much easier!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Loft and could not have had a more perfect venue. It is such a beautiful space and the team there is incredible to work with. Alyssa, Victoria, and Chad were exceptional! Overall a beautiful experience and highly recommend!

We did our full wedding (ceremony & reception) at The Loft at Earls and had the best time. Victoria, Alyssa, & team were fantastic -- they answered tons of questions for us and helped make sure everything went smoothly. One of the biggest benefits to this venue is you don't pay a venue fee, and you can start setting up at any point in the day (e.g. you aren't billed hourly if you start setup 3-4h before the event, at least when we were there in Aug 2023). Taste testing for food was not available, but you can trust that their quality will be good. They let us do a free wine tasting which was super kind :)We loved the flexibility in menu, bar options (we had 6 cocktail options, beer, wine, highballs, and mocktails!), schedule, etc. The food was amazing -- the oysters and salmon especially! Our guests had a blast and it was truly the best day ever for me & my husband. Beautiful venue, great prices, and so convenient for everyone with the skytrain and cabs/ubers close by. Can't recommend it enough!Vegetarian options: Accommodated all dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Accommodated all dietary restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator in the back for people with wheelchairs. People in wheelchairs / who cannot walk up stairs, can access the venue from Hamilton & Helmcken.
