My new favourite place in Mount Pleasant! The most incredible staff, food and beverage. After dining in several times, decided to host a birthday party in the private, back room. The entire staff was so accommodating. No extra fees for bringing in your own cake. Provided tables & chairs arranged to your liking, had a large screen tv for watching hockey, room to host well over 50 friends and still set up an area for a photo booth.Additionally, they bring local artists works in to grace the walls.I cannot recommend this place more. You will definitely enjoy their menu but will be over the moon with the service provided during your visit!!!

Came here with a friend and then came back 2 nights later with my wife because it was so great. Amazing rice bowls, great beer selection and staff is super friendly. Wonton Nachos are incredible.

The Pleasant has potential, but also a really long way to go. I’ve been here twice. service is certainly friendly, but very slow. During my second visit, were asked to pay three separate times (honest mistake I’m sure, but puzzling) despite paying immediately after ordering at the bar. Food is hit or miss - beers are good.

I first visited The Pleasant for Happy Hour and loved the space and food!We recently hosted a company event at this venue, and I can't sing its praises enough! The food was an absolute hit with everyone in attendance – delicious, well-presented, and catering to all tastes. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of.The management team deserves a special shoutout for their incredible support throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Their professionalism and willingness to accommodate our needs made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.If you're looking for a venue that not only delivers top-notch food and service but also has a management team that genuinely cares about your event's success, look no further. This place exceeded all our expectations, and I can't wait to host another event here in the future!

A nice open and airy location that is modern and clean. Staff was nice, but not really familiar with some of the menu items. I asked a question and 3 different people who worked there gave me 3 different answers which was a bit odd. They have a happy hour which drops some prices to a reasonable level, otherwise I think it is a bit pricey for what it is. The beer list has a reasonable mix of local craft. My only real complaint is the Karaage is not very good, the curry spice is overwhelming and you could not taste the chicken at all it was so sparce and overly crispy.

They need to work out who is serving what table.

This bar charges for soda refills, which makes it hard to be the group's designated driver.

Amazing service- shout out to Ray. Huge drinks list (actually a phenomenal drink selection if you're into craft beers -- you could say DEEP CUTS from the local craft beer scene in fact). Came for a birthday in the back room and it was an epic event. Didn't have the food but saw lots of people ordering really tasty looking bowls! Very cool vibe.

Still very much one of my favorite place for grabbing a beer with nice food and playing pool with friends but the kimchi fried rice isn't the same as it used to be. It was my favorite item on the menu before and last time I had it, it was really disappointing. The cabbage was burnt and there was so much mayo on it. It would have been a bit better served with fresh kimchi but honestly it didn't taste good at all. Other items on the menu are good but I'll miss how they used to make kimchi fried rice RIP ?

I love this place!! Such a HUGE upgrade from the past business that was in this location. The total makeover is fresh and welcoming. The menu is fantastic. Try the "kraken bites" (it is calamari- surprisingly gluten free) and the kimchi fried rice. (The kraken bites have been updated since this photo and now have some veggies with it. Very tasty update)I can't tell you how often I crave this and just how many times I have been back in the past month since trying it... absolutely hooked. And the staff is great! Happy hour prices are ?.Dietary restrictions: Awesome for Gluten Free options.
