Sunny Sunday is for Happy Hour! We ordered several from happy hour menu and I ordered a pasta from their dinner menu. We ordered: Uni-versal Pasta *Dinner menu item* Diamonds & Pearl Scratched Unmatched G&Tea My friend is vegetarian and they have a bunch of vegetarian options. Their portion size is HUGE and definitely shareable! The pasta contains seafood, so I have it by myself. This is soooo good Rich uni cream and the egg yolk on top make the sauce and fish roes stick to the pasta noodles.Tiger prawns were sautéed just right. I didn't add extra uni and can hardly finish the entire plate by myself. Definitely a bomb!!! I also love their special house made sauces in the big platter. Especially truffle butter and EVERYTHING sauce. The Rise Global Fusion Eatery 3121 Granville St

I have never experienced such atrocious service. I understand that it was the last day that they were operating in the Granville location, however that does not excuse the lack of communication we received. Long story short, my group decided to celebrate three of our birthdays here since today was the last day they would be serving. My friend ordered the Dan-o-bing, but instead received a tofu eggs benedict to our surprise. The waitress explained that they couldn't make her original order after leaving us in a confused state. This would have been fine had they disclosed this to us beforehand and allowed her to change her order, but instead she was just given a random item. My friend pitifully said it was okay, but me being from a family who primarily works in the food and beverage industry, this left a sour taste in my mouth. This has never happened to me in any restaurant in Vancouver and I expected more from a place rated this highly. The food was alright. I got the Uni-versal Excellence, which was exactly how it was described. The portions for the price were decent, but I have an abnormally large appetite, so I would have rather spent the same amount at somewhere like Jam Cafe where the portions are much larger.

One of my fav places in Vancouver is closing their Granville street location !!!! Sad times. They will be reopening tho so keep your eyes peeled. The squid ink pasta and the heart attack fried rice are amazing. We also got spicy fried vegetables and the geisha... my fav drink their. The pocky does it for me.

Nice restaurant and loved the unique wood tables. Definitely would come back to try more shared plates! They encourage all their items to be shared amongst the group. For this time I only had the squid ink pasta and it was delightful!

This is a wonderful little spot on south Granville street. Food is interesting loved the duo dish of brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Had two helpings. Definitely easy to share dishes. Well designed, with raw edge tables, spaced apart. Washrooms excellent and clean. The sad news is they are moving at the end of the month. Too bad, perfect for pre show/theatre dinning.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good. Food was tasty. Came out hot and timely. Boba cake was delicious and the fried chicken. This was part of dine out. Not sure if what we had is on the regular menu. But would recommend. Great place for a date night but make a reservation if you can!

The food was excellent. One "large" plate or two "small" plates seem to be a good portion per person for quantity but sharing is encouraged. The squid ink pasta was our favourite and the rose lychee cocktail was smashing! Our server noted to us that it was his first day on the job and he still did an admirable job.We are looking forward to going back some time soon.

I’ve made a couple of trips to The Rise for brunch, dinner and their dine out period. Every visit is a fantastic one.Every time I come back here I always order the UNI-versal XO pasta! It’s so good and if you get it you MUST order it with the fresh uni! They also have other Asian fusion dishes - we got the ultimate se-duck-tion which was a rice bowl with some duck and foie gras which is a unique take. All of their dishes have such fun and creative names :)They have a great selection of cocktails, I particularly like a bright future and lolliwood north. Dessert is also really good with their matcha tart and boba coma cake (sponge cake filled with tapioca pearls and brown sugar sauce). The ambiance is warm and lively- both family and date night friendly or even to celebrate your bday with a small group of friends. The servers were really friendly, sweet and attentive. Overall, I recommend this place for brunch and dinner if you’re looking for something unique with yummy Asian fusion food.

Great place for brunch with a twist! Fusion brunch the bugogli hash is delicious. They also adapted to my friends dietary requirements for her order for gluten free and they have friendly service.

We came in for a friend's birthday brunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They offered her a choice of a complimentary drink from their menu. The food was delicious and in generous portions. This was our second time here ,and we'll definitely be coming back some more..

We came for the dine out 2022 experience and we had a good time. The food and drinks were good overall. The host and server were friendly. The ambience was cozy but classy at the same time! Would definitely come back.
