Great service. Nice vibe inside the dining room. Solid seafood.Parking: Parking becomes free after 6 pm (as the shops and markets close at 6 pm) but can be difficult to find available spaces before 6 pm

This is such a great place. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and even better service. If you go, ask for Veronika, she is amazing!

Loved the atmosphere and great service from Zac, attentive but not intrusive. Sharing 3 birthday lunches. Tasty oysters. The linguine vongole was tasty but did not like the tomatoes and spinach and too much broth. Delicious chocolate birthday cake.Nice to have the elevator!

These 3 stars are given for the location and for a captain who came by the table with smile and checked on us couple of times!but Food did not wow us at all.one of our orders was truffle mushroom pizza.I am a FAN of truffle and sadly I couldn't even find a scent on pizza!(forget about shavings)after asking,I was been told that they put truffle oil,I wanted to laugh coz they might have thought they could fool customers but not this one!!

I had friends visiting from Mexico, and sandbar is our tradition when they first arrive. This year they brought their son- he’s 9 and has recently learned some magic tricks. Noura was our server and I can begin to explain how patient and kind and friendly she was. His face would light up when he would spot her across the restaurant and he would wave her over multiple timesAnd she would always arrive with a huge smile to be his best audience (even when his tricks didn’t go exactly as he had practiced.) I can honestly say this is the best service we have had in Canada!!

Even though the place is located in a wonderful place with beautiful views, the food is less than mediocre. I had a feeling the menue hasn’t been changed since early 2000s. Because I didn’t like the menue option, I ordered the least offensive option which was a small tuna stack plate. The waiter, I believe, thought I simply didn’t have means to afford being in the place and was barely even coming by and not even removing the finished plate for like an hour !!!! Horrible service, very basic overpriced menue all with a great view ??

Good food. A little pricey. Arctic char and the seafood hotpot was delicious with lots of seafood. They charge for extra bread which I found a little annoying considering the price of entrees. They do have a salmon dish on the kids menu which was nice.

At one time a Grandville Island gem, this place used to be a top-ten favorite for us, a genuine treat every couple of months. Regrettably, recent visits have been rather mediocre. The food selection lacks the freshness it once boasted, often resembling dishes from an industrial kitchen. The service fluctuates from exceptional to subpar. Thankfully, the staff at the table are notably friendlier compared to the hosts at the door. Hopefully this summer management can turn things around to pre-pandemic quality and standards.

The fresh crab is so good, it would feel disrespectful to dip it in butter. While I was eating it, I felt kinship with the sea otters. I ordered the sablefish and it melted on my tongue, this was literally the best fish I've had in years, and in addition the potatoes and the broccoli were perfectly cooked and seasoned and they were scrumptious. As far as service, the staff were attentive and warm, and I at one point had a very specific question regarding a decorative leaf used in the sashimi and our server went out of his way to get the answer for me.Literally an 11/10 location, worth every penny and more.

Lunch while shopping in Granville Island.High quality food at reasonable prices for fresh seafood.Lots of table types and almost all have a decent harbour view.A setup from the market.Server was a bit slow initially to engage but picked it up with drinks and dining selection and delivery was quite quick.Had the Frutti des marres which was fresh seafood mix in pasta with a spicy marinara sauce.

Some of our party's food was fine, but my halibut seemed to have been pulled from the sea, boiled for a minute, not drained, and dumped on my plate with random accompanying ingredients.Sadly, this place has gone downhill over the years, but in true Vancouver fashion, nobody noticed, and it survives on its reputation of days gone by.
