This has quickly become my favourite place for sushi in Vancouver. Amazing quality, perfectly consistent, and with incredible service. There’s always somehow a table free. Such a cute little space too. The chicken karaage is some of the best in the city, and the bento boxes are amazingly generous. Love coming here!

Order for pick up on the phone. Asked for an AWESOME ROLL, received a BOSTON ROLL. She even repeated back to me, A-W-E-S-O-M-E Roll. What an absolute joke, maybe don’t hire people who can’t understand basic English. I’m putting large emphasis on manually opening each box to make sure they got your order right before you pay and leave….

The rolls were fresh and tasty. Will definitely order again from them.

Cute inside but the sushi and service was not good at all. We opted to try this as our usual favorite neighborhood spot was closed. We tried a variety of rolls and we honestly didn't like any of them. We ordered the scallop and tobiko roll and it tasted terrible. It tasted like the fish had gone bad and sat out for a while. I mentioned this to the server and she told me it's fine and they tasted it. She did not believe me, apologize or offer to take it off the bill or anything. She seemed annoyed with my complaint. The only roll that tasted okay was negitoro. The other rolls were weird and overly saucy. The spicy tuna roll didn't even taste like tuna. Safe to say we won't be going back.

I was in Vancouver with my wife and son for a squash tournament. We were staying at a friend's in the neighborhood, and stopped in for lunch without a reservation. There was seating for approximately 24 customers, and we were quickly seated at a four top. The menu was standard fare - a mix of standard appetizers, nigiri, sashimi, special rolls, bento boxes, and hot items. The food was prepared quickly, and was enjoyable and tasty. If I lived in this area of Cambie, I'd be very happy to have this place close by for Japanese takeout.

If you're looking for relatively inexpensive sushi, they've got the area covered! Charashi Don had a nice touch of nori, tonkatsu don was a great on a rainy day!
