Nice and comforting food. Price is very affordable. Make sure you bring cash as tho, or you will have to get some from the atm next door.

Saw some great ratings for authentic shanghai food so we gave it a try - the prices are right, but the food was so-so in my opinion. I think the meat inside the steamed buns, siu long bao and fried dumplings could be juicier and generally tasted of mediocre quality. We tried the fried noodles and it wasnt great either. Out of all the things we tried I liked the siu long bao the best and would consider coming back for that. The place is small and has about 8 tables or so. The turnover rate is relatively quick but you still have to queue. We left at 1pm and there was about 8 ppl in line outside.Parking: Parking in the plaza (free)

Amazing food. Traditional atmosphere. Dont expect 5 star service but the food makes up for it. Very cheap. Go early because there’s usually a line up to dine

Came here from the amazingly high google reviews and this place did not disappoint. Had their Xiao Lun Bao and Beef noodle soup. On the corner of the kitchen there's a little old lady making the baos by hand. Each were amazingly done and food came super quick after ordering. It is cash only so be prepared. Really good authentic food. Will definitely return.Parking: Parking is horrible in the parking lot. I parked on School ave near safeway and there were ample free parking. No time limit.

It’s a great local place, their food is great, the only negative thing I would say it’s that you need to pay cash and many people don’t carry it anymore, I highly recommend the

We came at around 11:15 AM and luckily, we did not have to wait. However, while we were eating, a long line quickly formed. The place does not have a lot of seating and is quite busy, but I like the atmosphere—it feels very authentic. We ordered the steamed pork buns and pan fried pork buns and they came out nice and hot! I was so surprised to see almost a spoonful of soup in each bun. The soup was very savory and the skin of the buns were perfect (thin skin for the steamed buns, and crispy skin for the pan fried buns). The proper way for eating these specific buns would be to bite a small hole on the side, let the soup drain into your spoon or carefully drink it from the bun, adding vinegar to the bun, and eating the bun. Of course, it is not mandatory to eat this way, but it is more enjoyable and you do not risk burning your mouth, or getting soup in your face!I would definitely come back here to try the other items on their menu!

Went on the weekend. Really busy, we arrived right when it opened at 11 and within 10 minutes most of the tables had people. Order the Dan-dan noodles and were good, however the noodles got a little mushy. Beef roll was good, shanghai spring roll was decent, and the soup dumplings were really good. Price was also reasonable. Would go back when I'm in the area. Overall happy but didn't think it was amazing.

I keep coming for their awesome Spicy noodles and buns – so good! It gets busy, so expect a 10-15 min wait. It's a small spot and the food usually comes out very fast, perfect for a quick meal. The food always hits the spot!

This is a very unassuming eatery serving authentic Shanghai style food. The place is small and seating is limited, they usually fill up right at 11am, when they open. Sometimes if you’re lucky, they’ll let you in 10 mins before 11, so if you don’t want to wait, that’s an option. The food? Delicious. Absolutely worth a visit. The service is also super friendly, the waitresses know so many of the regulars here.If you’re looking for an upscale eatery, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for solid Chinese food at a great price? This is the place for you. They are cash only, so be prepared for that.
