This place is a dive but if you want Geoduck and Alaskan King crab and other exotic stuff, this is the place to go.Sadly, you do need to inspect the seafood because well.. not sure I was happy when I got home.I suspect they must deliver to restaurants.

Was looking for fresh rock cod and this time of the year (Dec) they are hard to find with the halibut season winding down. Always driven by this place on my way to dim sum or Cantonese restaurants on Victoria Drive and decided to stop in and look and was pleasantly surprised they had a whole tank of live rock cod. Live and fresh is always better if you don't mind splurging and the price per pound which included scaling and gutting the fish was fair considering what larger places like Tnt were charging for live rock fish. I would recommend this place if your favourite fish market in Vancouver Chinatown doesn't have what you are looking for, they had a large tank full of live king crab while I was there as well.

I went to buy spot prawns priced at RMB 39 per pound. After weighing them, I found that half of them were dead. I asked to pick out the dead ones, but they said we don’t pick them, so just buy the dead ones! Speechless, the aunt has a bad attitude! Just don’t say it anymore, goodbye.

Been coming here for years, and yes, cash only and yes, they don't really speak English, but you don't get better neighbourhood prices for popular seafood items. Great little spot. Crab (King, Dungeness, Blue), mussels, geoduck, oysters, clams, etc.
