Phoned in order to be delivered. Thai satays, gang Leung (yellow curry), pad Thai, coconut rice, and Thai iced tea. Ordered one Thai iced tea, received an extra and was charged for it. Had this delivered to a hotel, there was no eating utensils or plates included with the order. Tracking down these essentials to eat was an adventure.Everything tasted bland. No spice at all. Gang Leung was watery. Pad Thai tasted like vinegar.Total bill was $95.20 including delivery fee and a $10 tip to the driver who dropped it.Very disappointing experience.

I went in for lunch today and got the beef pad. Thai. I paid for it upfront, and I went to sit down. She brought me over my lunch in a bag and I said oh I thought I was eating here and she said no. Anyway, so I took it to go it was so greasy you just felt terrible afterwards. I won’t be

This was our go to for Thai food, but something has changed......$16 soup that was watery and minus any content of former lovely rich coconut and chicken and lemongrass and ginger. Couldn't even taste the ginger or lemongrass. Mostly mushrooms and nothing else but watery almost tasteless broth. Had to complain and was treated poorly over the phone.Offered another soup after I asked for money back. Why would I get another soup when it should have been done right the first time.Cheap owner won't give refund. I don't want your tasteless soup.Your Pad Thai is nothing like the former Pad Thai that we loved. Lack of flavour and chicken, very boring noodles and a bit of tofu. Bland presentation with no bang of Thai flavour.Sorry not impressed and won't be coming back after being treated poorly and paying too much for lack of food as it's clear where they are cutting costs but raising prices. Very sad to see Boa Thong go downhill.

That was a great lunch, chicken veg and rice pad with 3 pepper heat also added a couple tasty chicken satay. Really hit the spot on a chilly day. Interior is dated, kitchy and clean. Dont let the stairs up from the street scare you off having an excellent meal here. Next time, dinner.

I have eaten here quite a few times but moved away a year and a half ago. Last weekend, I was in Vernon and I decided to pick up an order of Pad Thai. It was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. The tofu was burnt and chewy, the noodles were hard, the shrimp was rubbery and tasted awful, there was no garnish of the nuts and it just did not look appetizing at all. I ate it, it made me sick but I had no other option as I wasn't going to spend more money on more food. I rarely buy take out.I will not be back there again. Very sad because this was my go to for Thai food. It did not look like the Pad Thai that it should look like. I wish I could post a pic because it wasn't even nice to look at. ? Normally I don't complain but this was worthy.

Basic Thai, good food, comfortable restaurant. Not super spicy so if you like that kind of kick, you might have to request it.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is up a flight of stairs and I didn't see an elevator.

Tried this place today. I had one of the soups and I seriously think it was the most digesting thing I've ever eaten. It literally smelt and tasted like puke.. I totally lost my appetite. I'm only now just getting the after taste out of my mouth after

As the Thai food options are lacking in my hometown of Kamloops, my wife and I try and stop in at Boa Thong as often as we can when passing through Vernon. Their dishes are memorable and so tasty .

Ok, I'll start with the venue. The restaurant smells of old carpets and wood; kind of dank and the windows were very dirty. The table and cutlery were clean.Service was good and friendly. The food though, nothing Thai about it; huge disappointment. I know and love Thai food, I have studied it and even cook it. Thai food should have a complex mixture of sweet, spicy, sour, fishy and other savoury flavours that create fireworks in your mouth and taste buds. I wouldn't say that the food here was bland, but neither of the plates we ordered used any of the correct spices or produced any of the expected flavours. My impression was that the food tasted like Chinese cuisine trying to be Thai but failed miserably!Btw, Pad Kee Mao is a spicy stir fry dish made with rice noodles and Thai basil and has a very unique and distinct taste profile; the one served at Boa-Thong has no relationship with it either in ingredients or flavour.
