Extended family and myself had their Sunday brunch during our stay at the hotel. The server was great - very accommodating and friendly. The food was very good - a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. Atmosphere was so-so in the restaurant - it was fine, nothing to write home about. I thought the price was a little high for brunch - $30. I gave Bourbon Street four stars because family had dinner the night before at the restaurant and it wasn't a good experience - they waited over an hour for their food. That said, they were slightly compensated for the unusually long wait.

Very disappointed with our experience. We chose this restaurant to celebrate our 7-year anniversary. When we arrived, there were two 2-person tables, one larger table (approx 5-6 people), and one person at the bar who had all already been served, and no one arrived after us. I want to note that our server was very lovely (the only redeeming quality to this experience), BUT we waited AT LEAST an hour and a half (if not closer to 2 hours), in which time we barely received our appy (hot wings) and didn't receive our mains. We ordered our appy and main courses in very close proximity (and ordered within 10-15 min of arriving) to ensure prompt timing. Our server explained they were backed up, but waiting over an hour and a half in quite an empty, slow seeming restaurant feels a little ridiculous. We ended up having to just pay for our drinks and appy and go home with no real meal having been enjoyed :( :( :(

Had the Greek ribs, they were excellent. A friend had the lobster and scallop Thermador and she said she would order it next time. Wednesday is half price bottles of wine.

Went here for Christmas Day brunch buffet and it was absolutely lovely! We were a little hesitant but were pleasantly surprised at the offerings. The food kept coming out fresh and there was a carving station for ham and beef. Plus turkey, stuffing , mashed potatoes etc plus awesome Benny’s and other brunch fixings! The only negatives I’d say was the Lobster Mac didn’t taste like much of anything and the benny’s were poached soft which was a little polarizing at our tableI would definitely do this again … we were full for the whole day!

Went in for dinner and the food and service was great, only issue is if you want a proper Canadian poutine you’ll need to hit up the McDonald’s drive thru first, as this place uses shredded cheese on their “poutine”Tell me you’ve fixed it and I’ll delete this part ?

Bourbon Street is my 134th restaurant, eatery, and café in Vernon. It is attached to a hotel which means the prices can be a bit more expensive. However, most menu items use more obscure ingredients than what you normally see in restaurants around town.Chelsey was an excellent server.I ordered Pad Thai. I asked if the portion size for $27 would be big. I was assured it was. Judge for yourself. I thought it was big enough. After tax and 15 percent tip, I paid $36.23 for Pad Thai and two root beer sodas. The Pad Thai is almost like a pasta.Overall, I enjoyed my experience here at Bourbon Street. 134 restaurants down; 20 to go.Vegetarian options: Pad Thai, salads, Moroccan stew, veggie burger

Took my granddaughter for a special night out and we were not disappointed. I had made a reservation the day before and let them know we were coming for a birthday celebration. We were treated with extra special attention from the moment we arrived. The hostess, unfortunately I did not get their name, started the experience with a wonderful welcome and made sure we had lovely seats. Our server Chelsea was amazing. Although my meal was not the greatest, prime rib dinner that was cold but not too bad tasting. My granddaughter had a kids meal of chicken strips, fries, drink and desert. She ordered her first Shirley Temple, she loved it. When her desert came at the end of the evening Chelsea sang happy birthday and got her to blow out the candle at our table. My goal was to have my granddaughter experience a "fancy" restaurant for a birthday dinner and that was achieved ten fold. Thank you

This is how Bourbon Street Bar & Grill treats wildfire evacuees without insurance. They agreed to be the dinner provider for evacuees on a night when they are closed. The next day we are told that we cannot use the voucher for the night they were closed, even though the terms clearly state on the voucher is "not per day, per meal." We are also told that they were closed because they were short staffed. I point out that she just lied, they are ALWAYS closed Sunday at 1:30 PM. We are asked to "find what entree we would like on the menu and it will be taken care of". They mean pick a $40 entree and pay the difference between the bill with tax and tip, and the $25.50 voucher paid for by the BC Government. No chance of redeeming the voucher for when they were closed for an appetizer and today's voucher for a $25 burger. Humiliated by the attitude of the "Supervisor", we left. All three of us only used 1 of our 5 x $25.50 vouchers, see below what would have happened if we didn't have to use the vouchers. We verified with BC Emergency Services several times what the terms on the voucher are. Bourbon Street Bar & Grill did not. The volunteers at BC Emergency Services told us that they had heard from a lot of other evacuees, about 30, that Bourbon Street Bar & Grill was closed on Sunday and could not, did not, provide the service they signed up to do.Evacuees without insurance who have email, online banking and their BC services card receive $53/day via e-transfers into their bank account, to spend anywhere. Only people without one of those items receive the vouchers, my BC services card was lost in the fire. We were denied use of 4 $25.50 meal vouchers each. They keep the vouchers somewhere in the restaurant, do not need evacuees to sign that they received the meals and can print receipts to get paid for meals we did not get.
