my sister and I stopped in for a quick meal as we were passing through Vernon on our way to Oyama. A Google search informed us that Jade Asian Kitchen was the "best Chinese food in Vernon," so we decided to give it a try. We each ordered a single combo meal but my sister also wanted deep fried wantons and we both had a craving for dry garlic ribs. A shockingly short time after ordering, our food started to arrive. The super nice waitress, whose name I didn't get, brought out combo plates out first and we marvelled at the amount of food each held. Then another large plate arrived. And another. My sister and I looked at each other and agreed this was more food than we could ever eat in one sitting. I was concerned that the quickness of the food's arrival would mean lukewarm, stale food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for way too long, but I was very pleasantly surprised to discover it tasted fantastic and everything was piping hot! To be fair, this is the only restaurant I have visited in Vernon, but I can't see how it can't be the best in town. Jade Asian Kitchen is certainly one of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ever eaten at. Great job! I will return at every opportunity. Thank you!

Horrible customer service! We have ordered twice in the last 2 months, and both times our order was missing major items. This time we picked up food to bring to my Mom in the hospital. Again, two main items were missing from the bag, yet somehow appeared on our bill. We paid 100.70 for approximately 60.oo worth of food. My husband phoned, and the manager LIED, and curtly told him it was all in the bag. It clearly was not. I have better things to do while visiting an elderly parent than try to scam some random restaurant. Will NEVER go again, and am telling everyone how dishonest they are.

What ever happened to good Chinese food. What lacks in taste they try to make up with big servings. Really disappointed in the ginger beef, I couldn't even eat 1 piece. Nothing is made with heart anymore its just a job for most.

We stopped by on our drive for today. We were not disappointed. The food was in a word delicious. The salt and pepper calamari was the best we’ve had. The sushi hand cones were delicious as well. Next time we’re in Vernon we will be back. We highly recommend this place.

I finally found a place that makes a mean lemon and almond chicken. A place comparable to my lower mainland days. It definitely satisfies the cravings. The fried rice, pan fried crispy noodle chow mein and the beef with black bean sauce are the familiy favorites. They also make a good hot and sour soup. If your looking for a spot to sing those chinese notes. I suggest you give this place a shot. We are a fan of the dine here, because you eat the food hot and fresh.
